This property advertises itself as new but it's the old Marco Polo with some renovations. Location is the best thing as it's a few steps from Lingnan. But the rooms are small, old and not very comfortable. Balconies are nice but have no furniture. Bathroom wasn't very clean and was also very small. For the price we have stayed in much better 5 star hotels in similar cities so value for money is not there. Would stay there again only if I need/want to be in the area as it is the nicest in town.

The breakfast is good for variety of food but some food items not hot enough which affect the over quality, "soup of noodle" not hot and different favors of congee also not hot enough Front desk staff and Concierge staff are very helpful and friendly Will stay again ~

good option for foshan
The location is great if you want to explore the area, it's close to Foshan Lingnan World which is a bit of a tourist trap but still has a good choice of food and entertainment by local standards. Overall the hotel was in good condition, check-in and out were both efficient. Breakfast was included, and there was an OK selection, not as comprehensive as some of the GZ hotels but acceptable, you fill find something you like. The room was very comfortable, and also had a kitchenette but for some reason lacked coffee facilities (I really think 4+ star should come with a Nespresso or equivalent machine). My only real complaint ... the gym was closed, and the excuse given was Covid, but considering my stay was in Jan 2023 and all covid restrictions have been dropped, this didn't make any sense.

A good hotel
The location is in the Foshan xintiandi old town. You have everything around with different very good restaurants. The only problem was getting out of that area by car as the traffic was stagnating everywhere. Plan more time for that.

First time staying in this hotel. Chose it because it's very conveniently located. Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Bathroom had a slightly strange layout but shower was lovely and everything was clean. Unfortunately there was a horrible smell coming from the toilet, I assume there is a problem with the pipes/drains. That meant we could also smell it in the room, not very pleasant...I appreciated the balcony as at least we were able to open the door outside and have some fresh air. The tv and/or remote did not work properly, channels changed extremely slowly. Bed was super comfy, pool and surrounding area was clean(though why would the door leading outside be open?It let in cold air and made the hall chilly) and the breakfast (apart from an omelette which was made to order but totally tasteless,don't bother ordering one)was great.

We were 3 (an adult with 2 children). The hotel didn't dispose one bed for kid and the bed they slept were two small. Almost all hotel functionaries didn't speak English or do it too bad.
