Just a minutes walk from the harbours edge & 10 minutes to Readymoney beach, everything is easily within reach. Sleeps 4 with one spacious double room & one twin, both with estuary views! Shared bathroom with shower/bath unit on 1st floor. The ground floor has a bright, open-plan kitchen/dining/living area, well-equipped with all you could need for your trip to Fowey.
The Space:
Sundance is a traditional stone cottage full of original features and Cornish character. Situated in the heart of Fowey with the harbours edge literally a 1 minute walk, there is no better way to get a taste of life in this historic fishing town.
The ground floor has a bright, open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Despite having a traditional feel, this space is furnished to a very high standard with modern appliances throughout. It is well-equipped with everything you should need.
The first floor has a decent sized twin room with views over the estuary and a selection of books for keen readers. Adjacent to this there is a pristine bathroom. This has a bath/shower unit, so is well suited for those with little ones.
The top floor has a breathtaking master bedroom with traditional beams. Due to the height, this room has the best views over the estuary and beyond. There is ample storage for your personal belongings and a TV for relaxing after long days at the beach!
Sundance Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Fowey and the surrounding area. There are a wide selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs, artisan shops and tourist attractions all around you. Furthermore, the nearest beach is only around a 10 minute walk and you can continue on coastal paths from here. For the adventurous, there are kayak tours up the estuary and boat rentals from the harbour.
Further afield, many of Cornwall's most popular attractions are only a short drive away. The world famous Eden Project is around 20 minutes, plus many surfing beaches on the north coast can easily be reached in 40 - 60 minutes.
In May Fowey is home to Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature. The Festival is inspired by the famed author Daphne du Maurier, who spent a large part of her life in and around Fowey.

Sundance Cottage is located on a narrow street in the centre of the town.
Getting Around:
Due to the remote nature of Cornwall, a car is recommended for getting around.
However, if you do not have a vehicle, the nearest station is in St Austell. Trains run here direct from London Paddington and it is around a 20 minute taxi ride from the station to Fowey. There are also buses available.
Other Things to Note:
There is no parking onsite. However, the main town car park (paid) is only 250m away. There is also some free long-term parking at the entrance to the town about 500m away. Limited free short-term (2hrs max) about 100m away. It is possible to stop outside the property to load/unload.

The cottage is cleaned professionally to a high standard in between each booking, so you can book with confidence that we are doing everything possible to make sure the property is sterilised. It is also self-check in via lockbox so no contact is required for access.
