Elegant, good value hotel with comfortable rooms. Hotel is ln great location being next to one of the "gates" of the old city. Travelling as a family, we were happy that they allocated us adjoining rooms. Breakfast was wholesome. Check in were very attentive.

The location was brilliant and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room and especially the bathroom were spacious. The ac was a bit noisy. The biggest negative was the lack of a proper bar.

The Hotel Compostela it is very centrally located, easy access to the cathedral and surrounding areas like plaza de Galicia, Mercado de Abastos and Santiago de Compostela train station. The staff is very knowledgeable and the facilities are very clean and comfortable. Overall it is a great hotel to enjoy while staying in Santiago.
