Hop back in time with the Tramway Franconia Chalet located in the desirable Mittersill Village. Our Austrian style chalet provides just the right amount of space to host 2 families looking for a landing pad that is ideally located near many outdoor attractions in the White Mountain National Forest.

Our mountain-side chalet was lovingly built in the 1940s with that charming Austria style design of high-beamed ceilings, lower level bedrooms and a central fireplace for the family to unwind. The wrap around deck offers a place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or to grill some hamburgers after a fun-filled day in the mountains.

Enter our home through the basement where you can drop all of your gear before heading upstairs to the sun-filled living room. Large windows provide ample light and open up the space. Although small, outdated, and a unique design, our kitchen has all of the items you need to cook your meals. The kids will love the built in dining room table nook area as a place to play games and enjoy meals together.

All 3 bedrooms are located on the main living level. The largest offers a king size bed, vaulted ceilings and an updated en suite bathroom. The additional 2 bedrooms both have a queen bed and set of bunk beds to fit the entire group. There are 2 full guest bathrooms so there will be no fighting over who gets to shower first! The guest bathrooms are small, simple and in need of updates but they get the job done. (they also lack outlets)

You will have access to the entire house, deck and yard. There is a small locked room in the loft that is not available to guests.

NO MORE than 3 cars. Our driveway can only fit 3 cars comfortably. No parking on the road.

Relaxing
This was a great place to get away from the busy world. If you like hiking, or just relaxing in a quiet neighborhood in the mountains, this is a great place to go.
