Excellent choice. Good location. In my view not a 4-star as no restaurant in premises, no comfortable place available to load or unload you baggage on arrival and departure, Other than that, very comfortable rooms, good size, not huge. Well equipped.

It was a little sketchy in surrounding areas but nothing too bad. The property itself was nice ish, LOVE that there is AC! My room (non smoking) smelled like cigs but that’s Europe for you I guess. Hated that the bathroom didn’t have a normal light and had a red light timer that was hot and unpleasant. Bed was comfy, room was spacious enough. Loud outside so thank goodness they had AC so I didn’t need to keep my windows open.

We missed to carry tooth brush and we asked the staff at the front desk if she knew the store around. Then, she gave us the toothbrush and slippers to us. She was so nice.

Surprisingly quiet location, easy to get anywhere from this location, and lots of food options around. Hotel is very quiet - room was nice and included a big tub.

The hotel is positioned perfectly for easy access to the train station, tram, Festhalle and local bars and restaurants. Despite the typical busyness and noise of the city, the Victoria Hotel is very well presented, clean and the staff are very attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, bathroom facilities were a little tired but adequate. Continental breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks - staff are very friendly. This hotel is absolutely ideal for business trips and would recommend for events such as Automechanika, Frankfurt.

Gotel was clean but services limited and area around hotel was dirty and sleazy with a lot of drinking. No water or coffee in room. The air conditioning not very good so room was pretty hot. There is no parking in the area and street parking "iffy."

The hotel itself is very nice, clean and I felt safe inside. The neighborhood, however, is dirty and filled with homeless people. One morning I saw three men smoking crack in a doorway. The restaurants in the immediate neighborhood were falafel shops.
