We had a really lovely stay at the Atlantic hotel. The location was great, just outside of town and very close to Acadia National Park. The breakfast every morning was wonderful, fully stocked with great food. Would recommend!

My wife and I stayed for our wedding anniversary. The room was very clean, the balcony was great overlooking Frenchman Bay, and ALL of the housekeeping and wait staff were friendly and super helpful. The facility is in excellent condition and you there is a dedicated bikeway a short ride into Bar Harbor. The hotel is a short 4-5 mile drive to the main trail lot to the carriage road system.

The property was nice, but even out of season, the room was pretty pricey. We were in town one night for a wedding. The room seemed clean enough, but it was in need of repairs. Trim by the doors was broken and dirty. The ceiling looked like it was damaged and repaired poorly. The bathroom ceiling tiles were falling down. By the time we got to our room, we were so tired that we didn’t bother contacting the front desk. It was just a place to sleep for the night. The staff was nice and the breakfast was decent. The view was nice.

Great hotel with beautiful views
We would stay here again. This hotel was clean and beautiful. The main building was decorated tastefully, and the room and bathroom were like staying in a nice home rather than a hotel due to the upscale decor and furnishings. The shower had good water pressure, but the towels to dry off were thinner than I would expect. The breakfast was pretty good, as there were a lot of options and it was included in the price. We did not have time to use the indoor pool, but it looked nice. The views can’t be beat! The room was quiet and we liked the balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good choice.
