Arrived and code didn’t work. Outside of property was not kept up. Lawn was not mowed. Inside was clean. One bathroom had a towel bar broken off the wall. No where to hang towels. Unattractive slipcovers on the living room furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a meal. We have used vrbo many times but was not happy with vacasa as a management team. We will avoid properties managed by them in the future.

We were given the wrong entry code, and I texted the number but no response. I called a different number and was quickly helped! The place is quiet, a lot of room, and fenced in backyard for our pup. We saw deer in the frontyard which was a joy! Close to wineries, breweries and a couple of distilleries. Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was located on a dead-end street so there was very little noise. Our relatives from the city enjoyed watching the deer every morning. The house was the perfect size for two couples and I appreciated that each room had a king-sized bed and it's own bathroom. The house was well-stocked and clean. The only issue I saw was that the trash in the kitchen from the previous guests, which unfortunately smelled of raw onions, had not been emptied prior to our arrival. But other than that, everything was great.

Clean and serviceable - great if you have dogs
The house was very warm, clean and basic. Located on a quiet road outside of Fredericksburg. Lot's of deer were running through the property during our stay. We experienced a significant cold snap while we were staying at the residence. There were no extra blankets for the bedrooms, and no blankets at all for the sofa bed, just sheets. We weren't cold, but watching TV would have been nice to have an extra blanket to curl up with rather than taking them from the beds. The house is very serviceable, but isn't very cozy. The fireplace would have been nice to use with the cold snap we experienced, but it was apparent with the lack of fireplace tools and no fire screen that the fireplace isn't to be used by guests. It is nice that you can have your dogs there and it was very clean and didn't smell of animals at all, so that was a HUGE plus! I would probably stay during the summer when we could use the outside patio, yard and grill. With the cold weather, it would have been nice to have a fire in the evening.

Great weekend in Fredricksburg
We stayed at Woodlands Wonder for a long (not long enough) weekend. This house has everything you need for a short or long stay. The windows on the back of the house are awesome and let you see all of the wildlife outside. We sat on the porch every morning and evening watching the deer come across the field. There was a big Axis buck with huge antlers that was a frequent visitor. The interior is nicely renovated and with really nice finishes. I would love to stay over a holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas. We will definitely be back.

Love this rental!
Love, love, love this rental! We have rented several homes in various states, and this is by far the best. Very clean, lots of light, very comfortable. Not cluttered. Loved the full, modern kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful site. Felt remote, but close to town with lots of wineries and markets on the way. Home away from home. Will definitely stay here again while in Fredericksburg. Our favorite!
