Stonebridge Unit 1 is part of a charming 3 unit guest property. It is only a 5 minute walk to the heart of Main street. It is a romantic cottage perfect for couples looking for that getaway in Texas wine country. Inside enjoy a soaking tub with fireplace, king bed, living area and kitchenette. Outside enjoy the large shared patio with gas fire pit and shared hot tub; perfect for enjoying wine and conversation under the stars. This property is truly one of the best locations in town!
The space
This rental is Unit 1/2 of a private two unit cottage only 2 blocks to Main Street. The romantic cottage has an open floor plan with king bed, living area with couch, fireplace, tv and kitchenette. The bathroom boasts a large soaking tub facing a romantic fireplace and also a large walk in shower. Outside you will find a shared large gas fire pit and patio perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying a glass of wine. There is also a shared hot tub that is ideal for relaxing after a fun day in Fredericksburg.

Fireplace not working
The location was fantastic and check in was easy and flawless. However, I had to knock the rating down for the fireplace not working. I had seen some other reviews saying the fireplace wasn't working, so before booking I verified with the property owner that the fireplace had been fixed. I was assured that it was working. However, it was definitely not. I was able to locate the manual and followed all directions to ignite. Unfortunately, the pilot was not lit and the only way to access the pilot to re-light it was to remove a large glass panel. I didn't feel comfortable doing that, so we just went without the fireplace. Which was a bummer because a cold front had just come through the day we checked in, so it would have been a huge perk and was honestly the main reason I booked this particular property. So, if you are like me, and the main appeal of this property is the fireplace, you will probably want to book elsewhere. On the other hand, if the fireplace is not a major selling point for you, then it's a great rental with a super convenient location.

Great location in Fredericksburg. I had rough time finding the property because it’s not marked very well from the street. This one area that they need to improve on to make the check experience much better..

Short but sweet!
My wife & live in Boerne, but we wanted to try something different for the 4th of July this year. Your place is beautiful & in the perfect location. We’ll definitely be back when we have more time to take advantage of more amenities. Only one night this time, but it was a “goodern”! We had an excellent meal @ the Cabernet Grill just a few minutes down HWY 16 and fireworks right across the street when we were finished with our meal.

Unit had a few problems. Fire place broken!!! TV was difficult to get programming!!!! Some dishes not clean, still had previous guest stuff in them. Only had small amount of bathroom tissue?? No working lighting by parking area.

The property is beautiful. However it was our wedding anniversary getaway and the fireplace, which was a major booking feature, did not work. We were not warned ahead of time and upon notifying the property manager, he seemed surprised but not too bothered. There are many reviews on other booking sites stating the fireplace did not work for them either. What was supposed to be a romantic getaway was a bit fizzled due to lack of a advertised amenity.

Nice cabin, great location, really comfortable bed (if you like firm)
Clean, comfortable, cozy. Fireplace never started, but no big deal. Great tub. Consider a dimmer for the lights over the tub so it isn't so bright.

Quaint getaway
This place is perfect for a couple to getaway for a weekend and enjoy all that Fredericksburg has to offer. It is within walking distance to Main St. The unit is a cozy place to rest, relax and just enjoy time together. Not to mention it is beautiful inside and outside. My husband and I loved staying here.
