Our stay was one night, stopping for what we thought would be a nice experience before heading home. The grotto was probably the best and only memorable experience. The room was adequate in square ft. but the furniture was massive and overpowering in my opinion taking from the beauty of the room. Nice clean towels and linens. I believe at one time it was a beautiful B&B , for know it seems worn down, outdated. Owners were not inviting or personable. Honestly the place needs a breath of fresh air, energy and life. Would I visit again probably not.. If anyone plans to give it a go I would recommend insect repellent, picnic basket or charcuterie trays along with your beverage of choice for any night's stay Sun-Thurs. Knowing ahead of time might have made our stay a little better.
It was a cute hotel that has lots of potential. It felt like a Spanish villa for sure. The Blue Room was cozy and clean. AC stayed cold. I wish there were more lights separate from the main ones. Breakfast was simple but good. Grotto was a nice touch and the outdoor pool was a good option too. Observation deck has great views of Enchanted Rock. Would stay here again.

Very beautiful area and the property is amazing. I would come back!
This is the best place I have ever been to! I can't wait to go back! We are going back in the fall to hopefully climb the enchanted rock. It was an AWESOME place! Relaxing, very nice people and it was just awesome!
This is the best place I have ever been to! I can't wait to go back! We are going back in the fall to hopefully climb the enchanted rock..July is way too hot for that. Either way, it was an AWESOME place! Relaxing, very nice people and it was just awesome! We had ended up with the 'Bridal Suite', because of a mix-up that had happened, but it didin't matter because the people were so accomadating and nice and the place was serene!
We loved our stay there. The only things I’d have to say is the large corner TV cabinet in the basic rooms should be removed, they take up too much space and is difficult to enter the room. Adding some ceiling fans to the main room of the lodge would help air circulation there, it’d been nice to have played pool or other board games but the air was too stifling and the A/C vent just wasn’t cutting it. Adding shelving over the toilet would increase usable space in the bathrooms. Other wise, will definitely be staying there again, regardless.
stay was fine. disappointing the hot tub in the Bridal Suite did not work properly. The hot water came out so slow, after an hour of only filling a quarter of the tub, we fell asleep. Not many comfortable areas to sit around outdoor pool. Grotto pool and chapel were nice. Views were outstanding. good breakfast. Friendly staff
The place is amazing. Super unique. Owner was very sweet. Took us on a personal tour. Explained how they built it. They served a very nice breakfast. We will be back.

Wouldn’t stay there again
Old place that has unfortunately, been left to run down quite a bit. The outdoor pool was nice and clean, but much smaller and not at all as pictured on their website. The underground grotto pool was stagnant water that I myself did not feel comfortable getting into for fear of some sort of disease. They offered a buffet dinner for $25 a person, but that seemed about double the price it should be for what was being presented. We never experienced the live music at night because we drove the 14 miles to town for dinner and stayed there for entertainment afterwards. Our room was very clean And comfortable, but other than that, I do not think I would stay there again
This property is very unique with a very old world vibe. We stayed in a room in the Lodge. The room was very small and lighting was not good….hard to see to get ready. We encountered a scorpion in our sink. The main room of the lodge did not have AC which greatly confined us to our small room. Texas is hot is June. The food was very good but the restaurant area also did not have AC. If you are looking for comfort this is not your place. If the uniqueness is what you are looking for, this place has it. The view of Enchanted Rock from the roof is stunning. The Grotto pool is very relaxing.
