As we approached the Motel Entrance (don’t let the cozy word “Inn” fool you), we immediately smelled the horrible odor escaping the building. It’s hard to imagine anything but decay, patchouli or a human sacrifice that would need that much disinfectant, potpourri and cleaning solution to cover up. I knew, immediately, I wouldn’t make it 5 minutes in there. Unfortunately, it was 11:25 pm and the Lobby was closing and we had nowhere else to stay. There is no elevator, so we lugged everything upstairs to find the room smelled even worse, was dirty, dark and the only furniture was from a 1970’s Horror Movie. The Front Desk was Closed by then so we escaped out the back door and drove off without a refund.
