If you are going to a sports event out on the Technoport, this is the place for you. If you are looking to be near something other than a Lawson store, you might want to search elsewhere.
The staff tried to speak English, but said not many English speaking foreigners stay here.
There is a restaurant in the hotel open till 10 pm, but if you get there later than that, you are out of options.
The pool costs an additional amount of money, but it's not too bad. There are tons of inflatable toys in the pool area to keep the kids happy for hours, and the pool is honestly 90 degrees, so near Jacuzzi temp.
The hotel itself is older and dated, but is clean and well kept.
Our only issue is the standard issue with most hotels in Japan. Booking kids in the same room with parents tends to cause issues with Japanese hotels. When I checked in, the person at the front confirmed with me the number of people staying. This was reassuring because I have had many issues before. But when we went to the room, there were 2 beds, and 2 futons, but no sheets for the futons. When we contacted the front desk, they tried to say we needed to pay extra to use the futons. I went to the front desk and as soon as I arrived, he was pulling up the translated copy of my online reservation and he said I had already paid, and apologized for the inconvenience. The bellman came up with sheets and made the futons while we waited in the room to go to bed, a bit of a hassle, but not huge.
Breakfast is a buffet.
