Staff was very nice and friendly, offered to carry my luggage up to the 3rd floor. The curtains on the beds could have been better, they were really small amd gave about 40% privacy. The shower rooms and bathrooms were nice. I stayed over the weekday and it was very quiet and peaceful.
It’s way dirty that I thought in the review and picture. The room smell bad and you can hear the cars all night.
Dirty and not really comfortable.

Pros:
Close to the Metro
Bed is big enough
Cafe (ground floor) is a nice place, it is comfortable and tidy.
5 min walk to convenience store(Lawson)
Cons:
Only 2 Shower Rooms on a floor. Particular demanding during weekend.
The water supply in shower room would be my big concern. The water pressure in shower rooms was weak and the water temperature was not stable. One of the bathrooms couldnt provide any hot water on my first day. It was an unforgettable experience to have a cold shower that night. But after relecting to the hostel staff , it was fine.
Highly recommend the hostel to provide bigger rubbish bins. it was always too full and rubbish dropped on floor.
There is NO escalator or lift so need carry the luggage to 3/F
The hostel is clean and the facilities are fantastic. The only issue i had was that there was little to no interaction with staff as i only spoke to staff when i checked in and checked out. This made it difficult to get information about the area. Still a good place to stay
Some Chinese people who were brushing their tooth enter the living room where other people were dining. That was disgusting. The shower room on the 3rd floor is not available. I ended up taking no shower the night. The place offered to let us use bath house nearby because of the inconvenience and I think that's nice but the place closed at 10 pm. That's too early so it won't work for me.
People can't keep their voice down or just shut up in the room where we supposed to simply sleep. I had sleepless night there.
It was okay guest house but only one toilet and shower room for each floor and it could be noisy if you want deep sleep. Staff wasn't really interested in guests which was quite disappointing but it was quite clean and cheap for backpackers. Hope you have fun in fukuoka
This was a really nice, clean hostel not too far from the hustle and bustle of Fukuoka City. It features a number of great communal areas to socialise with other travelers, however the walls are a little thin so be weary of loud mouths laughing and carrying on in the early hours of the morning (I simply consider myself unlucky, not the hostels fault). A comfortable night's sleep otherwise. Will definitely recommend to friends.
