This is a wonderfully located hotel directly next to the Fussa train station. It has easy access to good restaurants and shopping. Europeans and Americans should be aware that this is a Japanese business hotel, so while the amenities are great the size of the rooms are small compared to western standards. Alternately, the breakfast and amenities are more robust than what would be expected at a normal western hotel. Additionally, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They really make you feel valued and go out of their way to try and answer any question or needs you may have. Be advised that this hotel has both smoking and non-smoking rooms, so make sure you are paying attention when you book, if you find the smell of a smoking room to be a problem. This hotel makes a good base camp for trips into central Tokyo and to some of the further outlying areas of Japan. The line has a simple and easy direct rapid-train to Shinjuku and Akihabara to get you on the Yamanoto line around central Tokyo. It is a little ways out of central Tokyo, but this is nice as you can get on the train before the big crowds board. Finally, I found the breakfast to be high quality and constantly changing, so I did not get tired from the same food every day. This is a Japanese breakfast, so again Westerners should not expect what they would get in America or Europe. That said, it is still a very good meal and I particularly liked the miso soup and rice ball variations.
