I chose to stay at the Doubletree Hilton based on my previous positive experiences with other Doubletree properties. I have always appreciated the consistency and quality of service from your brand, and as my recent trip was professional in nature, I was hoping to have a comfortable and pleasant experience during my stay. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by a strong and unpleasant smell of mildew and mold, which made the space feel unclean and uncomfortable. Additionally, I discovered several other significant issues: the bathroom had visible rust and corrosion along the shower, the windows were in poor condition, and exposed, excessive wiring was present. The cleanliness of the room was also concerning, as the bedding and pillows were not fresh, there were noticeable stains on the floor, and there were holes in the walls. Moreover, the TV in the room was broken and the electronics covered in dust.
To add to my dissatisfaction, cleaning supplies from housekeeping were left in the room for the entire duration of my stay, indicating that the room was not properly checked or cleaned daily, as one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
I have attached photos that clearly show the bathroom condition, including the rust and mold, as well as other issues mentioned. I trust these images will illustrate the substandard conditions I encountered.
