To begin, the night time staff was very helpful. The first room I was given, the door did not close. They gave me another one. However, the room was only semi-clean, cramped, and with wafer-thin walls that let every single noise in on both sides. The place was very noisy for a Sunday night. It's a cheap motel right next to Gaido's and the seawall, so if that's what you're looking for, you have to overlook a lot to visit here.

This is a historic property that has been around for a LONG time. It's very vintage and reminds me of my childhood trips to Galveston. It has everything for a great time...except a great coffee pot. They serve a real food, hand made breakfast! And if you get a seaside room, 2nd floor room, you can see and hear the beach ❤️

The property is fine ( could use a little updating) they were having the roof done during our stay so there were room changes , that caused the staff some confusion, but the were open to communication and made it right at the end. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and would stay there again .
