There is a beautiful Sandy beach right across the Seawall for you to enjoy. This updated condo is large at 987 sq. Part of the new 'Dawn by the Beach' Condominium complex. It is a fully gated community and sits directly on the seawall. It is one of the most desirable locations for those who want a taste of luxury and space to spread out. The large grounds feature lush landscaping with beautiful mature palm trees and the two large resort-style swimming pools (one heated!) featuring waterfalls that have plenty of lounging space. Grills for barbecue located by the pool as well as picnic table. There is also a large hot tub for those tired muscles and a good-sized work-out facility. The Dawn is truly a spectacular property with beautiful views and a premium location with close proximity to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens Golf Course, Galveston Convention Center and the Historic Strand District shopping area. The master bedroom features a queen size bed, flat screen television, stunning ocean views, a large walk in closet and connecting bath with a large tub/shower combination. The second loft bedroom is up a spiral staircase and overlooks the living area. It also features a queen size bed, a TV/DVD player and enjoys ocean view as well. Plenty of parking space is available for those with multiple vehicles. We are up two flights of stairs on the third floor which many not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The view is stunning from the entire condo with ocean breezes galore.

Perfect Getaway!

We stayed a couple nights during Thanksgiving week 2024. The view is great, and exactly as advertised: Straight on to the beach and gulf. Traffic noise is expected with the road there, and for us didn't take anything away b/c we were expecting that. This condo is a fantastic alternative to a hotel for families who also want a little elbow room. Lotsa towels, which was good too. We didn't need to contact the owner about anything, which was nice for sure. The location on the island is really good too. It's nice and close to all the main stuff, but not so close it's a mess. Minor stuff would be the shower curtain needs changed (easy peasy) and the flooring looks nice but it's janky in places and probably needs redoing (harder). It didn't affect our stay. We were ready for the $40 parking fee (for the length of our stay) so that wasn't an issue either. Some complain about 3 floors to climb, that wasn't any problem for us, and if you're reasonably abled it's no problem... it would be harder obviously if not. Overall, to anyone looking, I'd say book with confidence and you'll have a great stay... we hope to again as well!

Great property with excellent beach views. A little dated and some of the floor was a little warped. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils to be able to make our meals in the kitchen. Our daughter loved the spiral staircase to the loft bedroom. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nicely decorated and maintained condo. It is up three flights of stairs and sometimes a ways to find a parking spot. Also it looks out on the very busy Seawall Blvd and a stoplight. So there is loud traffic noise ALL the time and streetlights and security lights. Not the place for a quiet little beach getaway. But it worked for us.

Wonderful host!

The place was spotless. All amenities were available and well-kept. Climate control was set to a comfortable temperature. Bed and pull-out bed were quite comfortable. But what set this place apart was the host. Jasmine graciously accommodated all of our needs. She set us up with all door and gate codes and other pertinent information. She stated clearly all check-out expectations. And she was a great communicator the entire time so if we had questions she would promptly reply. Thank you for the wonderful getaway!

Description of property needs some updating. Parking is $50 instead $35; office description would be great, as it was impossible to find it without having to ask for guidance. Other than that the location was great, beach access was great. Close to crosswalk which made things much easier. View was great.

Beautiful View

Property was located in a great area. It took 2 minutes to walk across the street to the beach. The pool was very nice, but I'm not sure I would consider the secondary pool a "hot tub" as it was roughly the same temperature as the pool. There was a small issue with the property not having been cleaned previously, but the property manager replied right away and had someone clean it within an hour. We were constantly in communication and received a small refund for the inconvenience. We understand that accidents happen and people are fallible, so this isn't a negative; we were grateful for such an understanding and responsive renter. My only issue really was that I don't remember reading in the posting that it was a 3 story walk up with no elevator. I feel like this is definitely something that should be noted in case anyone is unable to do that many stairs. In addition, the loft bedroom hadno window covering, which would have been nice for late sleepers. Overall, loved our stay!

Enjoyable stay with great view!

The view was fantastic. The pool was great. Condo was well-appointed and clean. Make sure you don't open the patio door from the left side because you will never get it closed and note that this is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Excellent Vacation Spot for our Family of 4!

This was a great place for our family to stay. The pool, beach access, and fitness center were great! Our 15 year and 12 year old boys loved the loft in the condo. They called it their “man cave”. It was nice for them to have their own space. Overall, we had an awesome time! Highly recommend staying here!

Texas two step tour

My wife and I had a great time at this property. Beautiful condo inside and out. The full doorwall with balcony gave us the most incredible view of the Gulf. We used the hot tub every night. Jimmy's on the pier and katys fish house were two of our favorite places to eat..highly recommend both. Look forward to staying at this condo again.

Excellent place

Excellent property. Obviously had been sprayed for bugs recently as there were several dead cockroaches throughout. Condo itself was clean. I did clean all of the dishes and utensils before use as some of them had stuck on food when I pulled them out of the cabinet/utensil drawer as well as a strong smell of vinegar. This is a common problem with rental properties so it was not unexpected. Internet had been reset by previous guest so it did not come up on the list as stated. No biggie. I just used the given password on the obvious choices and found it listed as netgear instead of condo233. Instructions were a little confusing as to all of the codes and passwords. Updated instructions at beginning of email then old instructions were still at the end. Check in at office was simple. Fill out one sheet with name and license plate number and pay the per stay fee. If arriving after hours they do have a scannable QR code that you can use to pay online but you still have to go to the office to get the parking pass thing for your car window and wristbands for pool use. Office people are very nice and laid back. They told me that there was not an actual need to wear the wristband just have it with you if asked. Balcony view from 233 is directly facing the water. No half view as with many of the other condos in Galveston. Closest neighbors on the right are blocked from view. You are able to see the neighbors to the left but plenty of distance between so that you do not feel awkward. People did arrive in the unit next door. I was able to hear them when I was on the balcony, but I heard nothing when inside of the unit. Lots of stairs. This unit would not be good for anyone with disabilities or anyone that packs too much and doesn’t want to carry it up all of the stairs. Otherwise, the view and location is worth the climb. I stayed in this unit for a week and wish I could have stayed longer. Location is perfect. Gas station next door and Walmart is right across the street. No need to get into your car if you forget something at home or need a quick grocery item. Far enough away from the tight cluster of hotels and packed condos that the beach across the street doesn’t seem as crowded as those other areas.
