Great location, lovely room, only downside was the noise from the front door every time someone came in. Our room was next to the front door. Would still recommend and really good value for money
The location is great and the available parking is also a big bonus. The owner was very patient with us when we checked out late. Really liked the room but the bathroom was a little grubby. Overall I would recommend it
Easy check in. Comfortable beds, but chilly in room. Room itself could use some pictures on wall & updating. Met the basic needs. Not close to main area of restaurants & bars. Parking was tight.
Very Expensive for a room for one night with breakfast not included in the price .While the room was clean to an extent there were cobwebs all along the ceiling and the outside window needs a drop of water to clean off the grime .No shelf in the bathroom so everything ends up on the floor .I have stayed in Hotels that were cheaper with better facilities .
Lovely guest house with easy walking distance to everything in Galway. We left our car and walked everywhere. The owner is super nice and very helpful. Breakfast is continental with great selections. We had the family room with 2 double beds & 1 single - great for family of 4 (with teenagers). Great place to stay in Galway. Wifi was good.
Lynfield Guest House was a great experience. The hosts were very nice! The owner even offered us tickets to a local play, which was truly a nice gesture. We also really liked that we had our own private entrance.
Would stay here again.
offered a room so small there was nowhere to put a suitcase, next room offered marginally better. We left and booked into a local hotel for a cheaper price and incomparably better accomdn/facilities.Of all 11 places we stayed at on our Ireland trip this was the poorest value. We lost the price of two nights stay there-the manager said most people that go to Galway do not worry about the room size as they spend most of the time in the lovely city!!!
I stayed in a room which must strain the definition of "room" to the limit it was so small. For E108 per night it was very overpriced. Friends who stayed on one of the top hotels in Salthill didn't pay as much. Finally, one of my friends got injured on the first of two days in Galway and I asked for a discount on the second night - NO, was the stern reply. Not a happy experience.
