This was a clean and well managed property. The owners are lovely. Parking close to you room and the room is a good size. Overall this area is expensive for what is available but its the gateway to Yellowstone NP. So this motel was a good price by comparison and it's tidy, clean and comfortable

The room was all we needed, the motel is conveniently located for the park and some restaurants. My three star rate is for two reasons. First, I requested a ground floor room and got second floor with no elevator. (We’re both seniors.) Next time I’ll ask for a handicap room. Second, there seems to be less parking spaces than rooms, and none designated other than one handicap space, which we did not use.

This is an old well renovated motel, has character - not the usual sterile chain motel, has picnic area by the Yellowstone River, walkable to best restaurant in town (Wonderland), helpful friendly staff. We stay here whenever we come to Yellowstone Park.

I selected this property for access to Yellowstone, proximity to the river, and it is pet friendly. The best part was access to the park, the rest was undesirable. The carpet was stained and likely from a different century, the beds were in poor condition and extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in the mattress. The river was close but not worth the other discomforts. My reservation was for a renovated room and there was not one available. I would not recommend this property.

Personable staff. Clean rooms with microwave & fridge. Visited 9/13, stayed 3 nights. Hotel location 2 blocks from north entrance Yellowstone. The town of Gardiner doesn’t offer much & the quality of food we experienced in town was not quality.

Fun place to stay, close to Yellowstone. Views of the river. The outside space for guests was so peaceful and enjoyable. The kitchenette worked well for our early mornings headed into the park. We would stay here again.

The room was very clean with new carpet and toilet. Even though it is a motel, its cleaness is no less compared with some two or three stars hotels. The location is close to the north entrance of yellowstone national park. We even squeezed in a visit to Mammoth Hot Spring after checked in at the motel. We saw deers, mooses and goats when we were in and out the park near sunset.

This was the first time we had stayed here, was a little worried before we checked in but was pleasantly surprised. Could not check in until 4 pm office was not even open until then. Very clean, very quiet. Very comfortable beds and pillows. They have a nice patio area with grills overlooking the river. An added surprise had elk across the street, in the street and parking lot at different times. If they served breakfast would have been perfect. I wish they had a laundry for the renters to use. We will definitely stay here again.

No specific statement about cleanliness, but the office manager(I assume) was very thoughtful and considerate by leaving us room keys in an envelope taped to the office door because we arrived at the motel after the office had closed.
