We loved staying at this hotel. The check in process was easy, the view from our room was beautiful and breakfast was delicious and filling. My husband enjoyed using the pool and the sauna. Easy walking distance to the train station and downtown.

Needs a thorough cleaning.
The staff were very friendly. The hotel is quite dated. The room had been renovated, however, all of the cracks in the wooden moulding were filled with black mold, and there was a musty smell throughout the hotel.

Decent Room for the Price
The staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. The room was below average inside, but had a beautiful view of ZUGSPITZE. They had no fans which made sleeping near impossible with how hot it was. They should add these to their offering. Breakfast was a little above average. Walking distance to everything was okay, but we were walking 6-7 miles a day so this is hard to advise on given a lot of people will not walk that far.

Comfortable and clean rooms. The location was perfect. Very close to train station and in the middle of Garmisch-Partenkirchen towns. Walking distance to Partnach Gorge and Olympic park. Very easy to get to Eibsee and Zugspitze by train, bus, or car. Helpful staff. Superb breakfast included in price. Also a spa and pool which I didn’t have time to use but it’s there.

My parents stayed here 22 years ago and still claim it is their favorite hotel, so when I took a trip in the area I took there suggestion. Completely lived up to (and beyond) expectations. Amazing breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms. The view is amazing as well, and though we did not have time to use the spa, it looked lovely.

We chose this hotel based on the reviews, especially what they said about the mountain views, and we were so glad we did. We fell in love as soon as we looked out of our window. Yes it’s an older facility…no A/C in the summer, and the pipes are still heated in the bathroom in warmer months which was difficult for us. But otherwise we really loved this place. We liked that it wasn’t directly “downtown” and it’s super convenient to the train station and grocery stores. The staff is amazing and the views are magnificent.
