The property is clean and well maintained. the only problem is the walls are so thin that you can hear everything going on in the room next to you. It felt like we were sharing a room with the neighbors.

Room was always very musty smelling. They have to do something about the water pressure. You can barely take a shower. It is a big problem trying to get soap out of your hair from low pressure. Like staying there. It is very conveniently located to the strip. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE WATER PRESSURE.

Friendly staff. Located in the heart of Gatlinburg so you don’t have to pay exorbitant parking charges to park downtown if you’re interested in going shopping or dining downtown.

The room description said King Renovated With Pool View, so had high hopes. Room had strong musty smell and there was mold on the air conditioner and patio door seal. Asked for different room, but they said they were fully booked. They offered to have maintenance take a look, though there wasn’t much that could be done during that short stay. Staff was nice though. Room was somewhat of a low point of the trip.

A little better then okay

The a/ c was good .The bathroom had mold in it . The staff was nice at check in and out. The room had a terrible smell that didn’t go away even with opening the balcony door . The view on the balcony was of a wall . The best part of the hotel was the location in walking distance to most everything on the parkway.

This was an older establishment, but a lot of it has been renovated. Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. It had a large TV. The location was excellent!

Staff was friendly. Room has been updated. Bed was comfortable. We had a double queen bed with pool view, so our room faced the strip. We could see some of the mountains and the swinging bridge from our balcony. Price was reasonable. It’s the second time I’ve stayed there and would stay there again. Being toward the middle of the strip, it was nice to just walk the strip without worrying about parking. However, parking lot is tight if you have a truck.

Rooms smelled like 50 years of old cigarette smoke. This place should have had an interior resort to get rid of problems that cause these old hotels to smell. There was also a HORRIBLY ill-mannered woman at the desk the day I arrived who was intent on being indifferent to my questions and had no idea about the properties policies on parking that could have gotten me towed. Also, parking is too limited despite the fact that they only allow you one vehicle. The second afternoon I had to park across the street in the public garage because they were full on the property by 8. Pool was closed despite many of the surrounding properties pools still being open. Manager was very nice.

Not to focus on the bad- our room (211) had awesome water pressure in the shower and the bed was super comfy! However, the rest of the room caused us to check out early, as we just couldn’t stay there another night. First, the a/c compressor would only kick on if we set it on 67. Then it was FREEZING and blowing right on us while we slept. There was black mildew on the edges of the tub and the bathroom door hinges were rusty and gross. The worst part- There were flying bugs in our room (flies and mosquitoes??). After I killed the fourth one, I decided we couldn’t stay. Luckily we were able to book somewhere else, at which point we packed up and went to the front desk. Thankfully, they were very understanding and fully refunded our stay, even though we did stay one night. They were very kind and it was appreciated. I can handle a lot of “stuff”and can sleep in many conditions but not this. Tent camping is one thing (you expect bugs!) but a motel room should be free of these things.
This was after I’d pulled a huge chunk of hair from the drain.
