This property claims to be renovated. It is not. There is fresh paint to cover up the mold and mildew you can still smell, but nothing inside is modern or updated. Our first room had exposed rust spots, dirty, and hair still in the bathtub and a tampon applicator in the garbage can. The sheets had either not been changed or had weird brown stains on them, and the pillows aren't kept in slip covers, merely thin pillow cases and are stained and nasty. One headboard had greasy hand prints and smears all over it. And the smell, good lord the smell was horrid. I gagged, put our stuff down, and went back to the office. The young woman at the front desk was so rude, not even remotely apologetic, looked dead at me and asked "well, did you mess it up? I can put someone else in it if you didn't." Ma'am, you shouldn't be putting anyone in that room. Our second room was marginally cleaner. The sheets were so bad I went and bought blankets to sleep on top of (thank goodness we brought our own pillows). It still stunk like the inside of a gym bag. Whether it was the dirty carpet or the 1967 rusted PTAC airconditioner... who knows. I didn't sleep. The ice machine was so loud that anytime someone used it the entire floor could hear it and LOUD. Conversations and other things very obvious heard between the walls. I don't have enough characters, but trust me it gets worse. DO NOT STAY HERE. You'd be better off sleeping in your car. Definitely don't pay more than thirty bucks a night.
