My wife found a cockroach in the room and my daughters complained about ants on their bed. The air conditioner was a little weak. There is a restaurant on the property which has good food at about the market price. Because of the cleanliness concerns and the amount of activity on the Cloud 9 strip, we ended our stay 3 days early.
Television wasn't working. Asked to have them look at it and they never came. We booked the family room. Had to ask for more towels as they only gave us two. No trash cans in the room. Very unorganized and was over priced for the two days we stayed there.
Staff was nice
No WIFI! Says there is online
Didnt clean the room everyday
No full size mirror in the room
Stains in the linen sheets
No place to hang wet clothes and towel in the bathroom
Bathroom drain is slow flooding the floor
Did not like absolutely one thing.
Dodgy check in, they didn’t even ask for an idd, anyone can come and check into your room.
TV did not work, informed the staff and nothing was done. Impossible to sleep.
There is a pub that plays music until late hours and also mornings been waken up by the neighbors roosters. The terrace slide door would not shut so obviously you can hear every noise coming from outside.
There is no pool, it’s just a one big joke.
The sewage smell coming from the bathroom is just unbearable. AC is as noisy as tractor.
Asked them to book transfer to the airport and even double confirmed with them the time, so inefficient that I almost missed my flight.
Had to ask them for new towels, I was there for one week and not once my room was cleaned, pretty sure their excuse will be “well no one asked us”
Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.
Couldn’t wait to leave this horrible place from hell.
Management is unreachable and pretty sure they don’t care.
Smoke and noises from constructions all day long, no wifi and if you want it you need to walk to the an other resort just to send an email. The only hotel on the island without wifi.
Staff unfriendly and not helpful. Room curtains inadequate, see through.

Near Cloud 9 but Far From Everwhere Else..
I thought I scored a good one with this hotel, as it was not very expensive and is located very near the Cloud 9 entrance. Although the hotel was reasonably clean and has that real rural, bohemian ambiance, it is located far from town where you find restaurants, bars and cell phone signal service (about 3 kms) !!! Transport is not so easy if you do not want to rent a bike, as tricycle drivers charge a lot at night. Another thing is that the wifi service (which only works in their restaurant) was working for only my first night and cell service in their part of town is non-existent, so check whether "unplugging while surfing" is really what you want to do before booking the hotel.

Value for Money - Okay for a Budget Hotel
Good location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beaches.
We stayed in room 1 with a/c which was quite spacious; no wifi in the room but w/ cable channels. There was an inch hole on the wall where some pipes were located, though.
The size of the bathroom was okay but had a lot of issues: 1) there was no toilet seat, so it was hard to sit on the toilet; 2) the sink had no drain/strainer - my small soap slipped on the sink then went straight to the hole and it was gone; 3) the faucet on the same sink had some clogs because it was giving small amounts of water in 3 different directions; 4) the other faucet easily twisted and turned (the entire faucet, not just the lever) when in use; 5) some towels provided were not dirty but shabby worn-out - they exchanged for better ones upon request; 6) no bidet but you can request for a dipper. My main issue was the shower head; it was was so old & filthy-looking. I was so uncomfortable using it because the holes for the water were actually surrounded/covered by yellow limescales!
Bought a double-priced bag of local chips called Piattos from the hotel then boyfriend noticed that it was 2 weeks past the expiration date so we informed the personnel. No product pull-out, no refund, they did not even talk to the manager/owner for any discount. They just told us that it was okay since it hadn't been a month yet.
Evelyn, though, proactively gave first aid to my jellyfish sting, assisted in our island hopping & motorbike rent. :)
Facilities was not what we expected, pool looked dirty (water was brownish) there were no toiletries, no electric kettle and you only get a thin top sheet as blanket, We also tried to have our room cleaned and we were informed that they only clean the room after we check out. Other than that location was great
Our room is clean and comfortable however, the mobile signal is weak.
