A Room without air conditioning
We arrived August 18, 2024 @10 o’clock morning. The lady in front desk was really helpful, friendly and professional. I felt welcomed, thank you. The room is very clean with a big window. But the room has no air conditioning, and the street is very noisy. I didn’t get good sleep in my 3 nights stay.

Receptionist embarrassed me
Of my 2 week trip to France this the worst hotel especially considering the price. My room was roasting warm. This was just at the end of the heatwave but was not a warm night outside. There was a tall fan in my room that just moved the hot air around. Useless. The room was clean but the decor was all red and made it dark. My room was across from a loud bar and the hotel is on a very busy/noisy main road. I had to open the window to try and cool down but then was so noisy! A paid for brekkie and got down with 5 mins to go and the majority of pastries/bread wwre gone. There was no effort or interest from the staff member to get anything additional. My own fault I guess. The worst part was after check out. The receptionist was busy and i looked all around the reception for a toilet. Couldn't find it so i made my way into the breakfast room to use the toilet there. When i returned to collect my bags thw receptionist berated me in front of 4 other guests that i shouldn't have been in the restaurant. I was so embarrassed. Firstly, it was the breakfast room, was not closed off and was the only loo i saw. Secondly, what was the reason to scold me in public as a solo female traveller in front of others. Horrible feelings leaving the hotel.

This hotel is very close to the main Geneva train station. There are great restaurant options near-by, such as a delicious Ethiopian place. The Swiss chocolate gift shop is also fabulous, with nice service. I got a small room with a one person bed and it was perfectly clean, though did not have AC--fortunately a fan was provided during the heat wave. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was wonderful--I especially liked the "boil your own soft boiled egg" vat; and there were choices of beverages, breads, as well as yoghurt and cereal.

Very close to Geneva train station 2 mins walk and handy supermarkets in complex right next door as well as a McDonald’s. Short stroll to Geneva lake approx 8 mins. Even double economy we booked room reasonably spacious and at a great price. Would have liked air con as very hot weather but seems it’s not that common in Geneva. Had a fan provided so can’t complain. Overall would recommend.

Nice size room, quite tired in decor. Main drawback was lack of air conditioning. We were in Geneva when it was very hot and the lack of air con made sleep difficult. Breakfast was good.

Convenient and clean
Convenient hotel across the road from main train station and tram stops. Short 10 min walk to lakefront. Very clean and good housekeeping service, good desk space in the room to work. Breakfast option is good value - tea, coffee, breads, cereals, yoghurt, etc. Room is compact as you would expect for city centre, good option if transiting through Geneva or doing day time activity.

Small but clean and an amazing breakfast.
Staff were very friendly and tolerant that I did not speak French. The room was small, but very clean and the bed comfortable. There was no air conditioning but there was a fan so I was still comfortable. The breakfast was amazing….so delicious.

Nice hotel and conveniently located. Breakfast was outstanding. The only issue was the internet. It was very poor and rarely worked while we were there which was inconvenient.
