The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Ok hotel
It is very near to murals area, food and transportation. Same breakfast served everyday while we stayed here (eggs, sausages, baked beans,toast,coffee/tea). Ok for the price.
I will never stay at this hotel
Poor service
Room stink
Soap dispenser empty
Poor free breakfast taste and only for 1 dish per person with no topup
Arrogant female chinese at receptionist
Near bus terminal and the old city yet away from main hustle. Breakfast food and service good. But the cleaning very bad: I asked for room cleaning once only in 5 days but nothing was cleaned: not the bathroom, nor the tables and glasses; they only changed the sheets and towels. As for the guy at the reception, he was a real useless jerk, making mistakes all the time: wrong dates on my breakfast tickets and failing to extend my stay as I had requested, and never ever apologizing.

Ok to Stay
The hotel is just nice for the price and cleanliness.
I haven't checked in the hotel, when I arrived the hotel they said sorry we don't have any rooms available and they sent me to another hotel nearby called Hotel19 . The hotel 19 was worse than you imagine, they give me room in 4th floor (410) and the elevator was out of service. I have check out and till now I am waiting for my refund.
Just OK need to improved on facility ie need to have iron at room.

Nice hotel close to jetty and bus terminal.
I only stay for one night. I think the hotel quite good, a lot of parking place. In addition the hotel near the jetty and bus terminal very suitable for the tourists.

Budget but not bad
We chose this hotel because it is close to everything in Georgetown. This was a nostalgic trip for this old R.A.A.F.-ie. Not much has changed in 50 years in this part of Penang. Walk from the ferry terminal. A block from the Weld where you will find Mamu Kopitiam - great restaurant - say Hi to Anuar - best coffee, best Nasi Lemak. Walk a couple of blocks the other way to Little India in Chulia St for Roti, or to get money changed or buy tickets to Haat Yai on a mini van.
The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is served downstairs and the chef remembers your preferences and starts preparing as soon as he sees you walk in.
This is a budget hotel - so don't expect everything perfect. The beds were comfortable. We eventually got a great shower once the hot water was made to work.
What was told was not there... the worst thing is you have to pay for their wifi service... unacceptable...

Affordable Budget Hotel
The room was nice and clean. The staffs were nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was tasty. However, there was a confusion regarding a free wireless internet. As we did the reservation from Hotels.com, it was stated that the wireless internet was free but when we arrived at the hotel, the internet was chargeable.
Stayed 2nights,the hotel WiFi was still failed to connected on and their guy did not solve this problem. Outside the hotel, there were some noises happened during to the midnight.
The room is hot in day time & air cond is not working properly. The man at the reception refused to change the room and told us all the room are the same.He give us another room card to keep the air cond running while we go out for dinner.
After 3 hours, we come back and the room is still warm. The night shift staff speak foul language when we ask to change to another room. Also he trick us to go up and down 3 times to change the card/pouch/breakfast coupon tjen change another room for.us.
We have over 20 years experience of travelling and never see something like this before. We should tell everyone we know that penang should not be on yr list of travel
