The location of the property is beautiful. That's about the only positive thing I have to say from our experience.
We booked our reservation several months ahead of time online, however, after traveling across the globe to our destination, they had no record of our reservation. Although we booked online with a guaranteed price and provided the email to the front desk, they did not honor the guaranteed price we had looked at. Instead, they tried to charge us more.
The disappointment continued when we went down to the pool area only to find that there were no employees working and that if we wanted to enjoy a cocktail, we had to walk back up to the hotel lobby and get our own drinks and bring them back to the pool area. This is a walk of around 400 m outside and relatively in cool weather. There's nothing worse than trying to relax in a hot tub and having to get out, put on a robe, and head back up a hill to go into an air-conditioned Lobby to order a beer.
Later that evening we had dinner at the restaurant and the food was subpar. Despite the high prices, my fish was drowned in cold butter and very salty. My fiance's soup was also very salty and did not taste good.
Upon checkout, we again experience the confrontation with the front desk regarding the price of our room and how much they wanted us to pay. This is no way to treat a guest once they're on your property.
All in all, this hotel was very disappointing and we will not be back. I would not recommend it to others.
