Great service, clean, was dated but inexpensive but the heater was broken ~ blowing out cold air is my only complaint . They did offer to switch my rooms, but I was already settled in for the night, so I just dealt with it. Not a bad place to say, if you’re looking for something inexpensive, just to sleep and shower

Our room was as clean as it could be but the room had a very stale musty odor. The air conditioner was very noisy and loud so we shut it off and opened the window as much as was allowed. The window did not have a screen on it and the interstate was directly behind the m hotel, very noisy also. The security door at the bottom of the stairs did not latch or lock, did not feel safe. Breakfast was a no go, very little to no food available. The whole place seemed very old and in desperate need of a through update. Carpet in hallway was ok but room carpet was shabby, paint on walls chipped and furniture sturdy but very worn. Outside concrete was cracked, buckled and unlevel. If there had been another room anywhere in town we would have taken it. Staff was very friendly and responsive to requests (remote didn't work).

The bed and pillows we’re comfortable… The staff was super friendly/helpful. However, the property itself was in disrepair. Torn carpets could cause someone to trip. Blow dryer was taped with masking tape to wall mount and did not work. Bathroom faucet wiggled. Breakfast was minimalist, toaster did work. Door handle/lock was mounted but a large open hole above locket. Very dated hotel. The staff was super nice though.

Lobby has been updated but not the rooms or carpeting in halls or stairs. Breakfast was very limited in variety. Requested on booking a first floor room for accessibility problems and pet but when arrived there was no first floor room and no elevator so had to use stairs. Staff that checked us in was very nice and apologized and offered to help to bring in luggage. This hotel definitely needs updating. Probably would not recommend this hotel.

This place is an absolute nightmare. We booked 2 rooms both if which had broken doors, tv's that didn't work crusty used towels and blood on the sheets in one room. Front desk lady was extremely unpleasant when we asked for another towel as our room had 1 towel. It may be cheap but it sure as hell isn't even worth that. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. Wonderful smell of meth in the hallways to start your day as well.

Worse experience in hotel yet at 55 yrs old!!!!
1 1/2 hour to just check in. T.V. didn't work. Phone to call frot desk to report the problem didn't work. I walked to front desk to report problems and was just told "Sorry." Tried to pay cash for room with a credit card as backup in case we trashed the room, (we didn't) and was told that I had to pay and extra $400 cash or just pay it all on my credit card. They evidently didn't have a way to pay for room in cash and use card as backup. The person managing front desk was gery rude and definitely unhelpful. Was told it was the owners daughter. Have had great experiences with other Super 8's-- HATS OFF TO YOU IN CODY WYOMING!!-- yet would never tell anyone to spend their money in Gillette!

Comfortable stay, odd arrangements
The stay was restful and got the job done for a single overnight stay. The check in was odd as i arrived at 830pm and the room was not ready. They were cleaning the rooms (not just ours) creating a backlog of arrivals. Front desk woman was nice and i could tell she was obviously trying her best despite the situation. We had things to do so we were happy to kill time but we had a tired 1 year old and we needed to press them. We came back and had to basically rush the room cleaners because they were taking too long. Also had a door malfunction that they knew about but hadnt fixed. Again, we were willing to put up with some things bc it was only a 1 night pass over stay. All in all, we walked away happy, but hotel could use some simple repairs.
