We will be coming back to the Carlton George. We loved all the staff, the food, the VIP exclusive, the convenience to transport. We loved the comfort of the bed and the great shower. It helped us have an amazing trip! We really loved it there!

The rooms are fairly dated for what you pay. The staff is very nice and accomodating. The area around the hotel has lots to see and many shopping and dining options. It is easy to get to the train station as it is the next block over. Parking is difficult as you need to find the nearest parking garages and during busy times the traffic can be horrendous, especially with road construction. It took us over 25 minutes to go around two blocks to access the parking garage. This is not the hotel's fault, but something to be aware of.

The hotel itself is centrally located to shops, restaurants and the train if going out further. The parking situation is not ideal at all, with parking only avaliable at a mall about 7-8 minutes away. The front of the hotel is also closed off to all vehicles except taxis and buses so dropping off luggage before going to park isn't ideal. The rooms arent bad, slightly outdated. The staff at the hotel were all excellent though and extremely helpful and kind!!

Many rooms here are affected by extremely noisy external fans. I moved room to one a bit quieter. Rooms are modern, good size and comfortable. Free minibar very generous. Staff are good, friendly. Location very central. Ask for a quiet room.

Convenient location near the train station, shops, and lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. The room was fine and included a complimentary bar though there were no ice machines so you need to go upstairs to the restaurant to get ice. The best part for us was location. Room was fine. We did not experience the restaurant in the hotel or the rooftop area.

The location was great and convenient for train travel. The hotel decor is tired, and even though we were supposed to have a VIP upgrade, our room was far smaller and ill equipped than others. We were short changed on space, barely able to get around the room. The staff was polite, but even though we put our towels on the floor to cue replacing after a couple day’s use, they were just folded and placed back on the heated rack. The next day we asked directly for clean, fresh towels and they did the same thing. Also, we stayed a week and the carpet was never vacuumed.

Glasgow

Very comfortable, large rooms with excellent amenities. Bring adapters for USB & USBc because the guest rooms don't have them built in. Very close to the train stations and a great central location.
