Riverfront Chalet with Spectacular View in Cascade Mountains of Stevens Pass

Nestled along Washington's Skykomish River your waterfront lodge awaits, with floor-to-ceiling windows lending breathtaking views of flowing water and Cascade Mountain peaks. While only an hour from Seattle and 30 minutes to Stevens Pass Ski Resort, you will experience all the benefits of complete escape. Hiking, Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, River Rafting, Fishing, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Bird Watching and Scenic Driving all within our surrounding areas. .

Our riverfront home boasts vaulted ceilings with rustic timber beams, knotty-pine walls, and cozy stone fireplaces. Relax your cares away in well separated bedrooms with luxurious down pillows, comforters, featherbeds and linens. You will enjoy a fully equipped open kitchen, three bathrooms and complimentary eco-friendly supplies. The house is well suited for a vast range of guests and is as charmingly cozy as it is grand.

Our mountain retreat will serve as the perfect 'home-base' to enjoy all this exquisite region of the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Relax on the deck to immerse yourself in the surroundings and observe native wildlife in action...eagles soaring, fish swimming and hummingbirds feeding to name a few. Spend your evenings toasting marshmallows and telling stories gathered round the outdoor riverside firepit. During the day, walk out the door and down on the river bed to cast your line into what is known among avid steelhead fishermen as one of the best spots on the river! Skiing, snowboarding and the like can be found at The Summit of Stevens Pass. Hit the trail and marvel at the breathtaking Lake Serene or hike through nearby Wallace Falls State Park to hear the roar of its majestic 265-foot cascading waterfall. Thrill seekers will enjoy climbing the rocky face of Mt. Index, or rafting the rapids of our very own Skykomish River. For a beautiful drive and unique experience, head to the Bavarian village of Leavenworth for a day. If you fancy wine, enjoy an afternoon in Woodinville Wine Country to see and taste an array from over 75 wineries, both large and small.

Meanwhile, those who embrace simpler pleasures will drift quietly into serenity, surrounded by the thoughtful comforts and full amenities of the home. Enjoy quiet moments with a good book in a uniquely hand carved rocking chair overlooking the river and mountain range. Gather round the dining table for an afternoon puzzle or laugh-out-loud evening of board games. Gaze at the stars while toasting marshmallows and telling stories around the riverside firepit. Lay quietly at night and be lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the rushing river. Our lodge is accommodating and friendly to kids, senior-citizens and everyone in between! Enjoy a family vacation, friends getaway, special occasion or business retreat. In any case, your expectations will surely be exceeded. Whether it's restful relaxation or activity filled excitement you seek, you've found your destination. You will leave with a happy heart, peaceful mind and priceless memories.

Beautiful Cabin
The photos do not do this place justice. First let me say Nicole was an amazing host to communicate with. 10/10 recommend just based off her interaction. The property was huge! I spent a large portion of my time on the deck facing the view of the river and the mountains. I wish I could record the sound of the flowing river because it was the most calming sound I’ve ever heard. The beds were extremely comfortable. Most places I’ve stayed at I’ve been missing my own bed but I can guarantee you will sleep like you’re on a cloud. We saw giant rainbows right in front of the mountains and although it was rainy most of the time, the sun still peaked out and it was absolutely gorgeous. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to make meals for a group. I will absolutely be back. Thank you SO much for this wonderful stay

Beautiful lodge on the river!
This is a great place to stay along the river. Clean, organized and attention to every detail. Kitchen very well equipped. Just bring luggage and food! Comfortable and one of the few rentals with 3 BR’s. Fantastic view of river and mountains. Close to Index. Check out The Bush House in Index. A quaint little Inn with a restaurant.

Family Vacation
We enjoyed our stay in Nicole's home. Check-in process was easy and the home was well-stocked and clean. Lots of activities to do in the home itself. We were able to walk down to the river but it does require some scrambling over the rocks to get there. Not a lot to do in the area itself (neighbourhood is pretty isolated) but if you can drive, there are lots of trails to explore within a 10-20 min drive. Overall, a pleasant family vacation!

Perfect place to unplug and be creative. Everything we needed was there plus other thoughtful things that made it a truly inspirational place to play music. Loved the sound of the river. Our manager, Nicole, was the most attentive manager I've ever worked with at a vacation rental.

Perfect Getaway
We had an absolutely fabulous time at the chalet, it was really easy to get to and felt like we were in the mountains without needing to drive over the pass. The house was stunning and had so many friendly, welcoming touches! We were three families and we spent the weekend with the adults playing DnD and the kids hanging out playing games and watching movies. It was perfect!

Riverfront Chalet
Great! The family celebrated the 4th birthday of our grandson. House easily accommodated the seven adults and two children. Gorgeous view of the river, nice backyard lawn for games. The short walk to the river was a little challenging, but once there, lots of fun throwing rocks into the river. The hose Nicole was great!

Amazing stay
Location is stunning. House was perfect— lots of rooms and beds, kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, with a limited amount of supplies (8-10 spices, just one roll of paper towels etc) but I don’t mind as we bring what we need and prefer this to finding messy leftover condiments, flour bags, etc. The whole house was spotless. Rental comes with a pass to a private community swimming hole on the river- everyone loved this!! You can also access the water from the house but the path’s a little rough and the water there is too, although it’s a great fishing spot. Finally: the view from the deck and the sound of the water 24/7 was so dreamy. We went on a few beautiful hikes but it was hard to tear ourselves from that deck. Really good communication with hosts. One of my favorite vrbo’s ever.

Amazing riverside home
My family and I had a wonderful time at the Riverfront Chalet for our annual Memorial weekend trip. Nicole was very communicative and informative about the house and the area before our stay, which was appreciated. The house itself was everything you could want and more. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we've ever experienced at a vacation rental. There were enough plates to feed our entire group of 10 adults and 3 kids and then some, and there was every kitchen tool we could have possibly needed, even a pizza cutter. Every detail was taken careof, down to having an extension cord when we needed one, and we didn't have to stock up on anything in town. The kids' area was very sweet, and had perfect toys for our 2, 3, and 6-year old kids. The firepit and lawn games were wonderful, fishing in the river was fun, hiking in the area was lovely, and we just had the best time. If you're considering staying at this beautiful home, book it now.

It's amazing that you can drive 75 minutes on a Friday out from SeaTac airport and be completely held in the comfort this Alpine chalet with views of trees, mountains, and that river. We were a group of old friends who meet every year and haven't been able to because of the pandemic. This was the perfect way to reconnect. We fished and hiked every day, and told stories and played games every night. It couldn't have been any better!

Wonderful weekend getaway
My wife and I had our immediate families fly out to celebrate our recent marriage. The cabin comfortably accommodated all of us and was very clean. The check in/check out instructions were easy and straightforward to follow. The hosts offer many suggestions of fun activities/things to do in the vicinity. The backyard/fire pit is beautiful with views of the mountains and river. The river is just a short walk away and very accessible, and the back patio is large and a perfect place to grill out. We had absolutely no problems with our rental and the hosts were reached easily to answer our questions. I highly reccomend this property to others and would stay again!

Amazing vacation so close to Seattle
We stayed at the property for 3 days during the long Labor day weekend. The property is amazing, lots of room, great amenities, right by the river. To actually swim, you have to walk 15 min (or drive for 3) to the private community beach, but you can definitely dip in the water right next to the house. The views are superb, and really close to hiking, scrambling and more.
