The room was nice looking but I don't think the rooms are ever vacuumed (didn't even see one on the room service couch). As I walked around the room I kept stepping on pebbles which was annoying, and then on my last day I found chips underneath one of the night stands.
I was glad that there were stairs because the elevator took forever to arrive.
And I think the area is called the "Kicking Horse Resort" because all evening I would hear stopping above. Thankfully they do have a sign that tells visitors to be quiet after a certain time.
Because the lodge is probably more used for the winter, there was no AC, rather a ceiling fan and a standing fan. The kitchenette was a nice touch but at least in my room, the eating spot was strange with two chairs facing the bed flanking a small table that you couldn't put your legs under.
Lastly there was a cement cube in the parking lot that had no sign coming from it and sat lower than most car windows, so I ended up scraping the door to my car since I couldn't see how far I actually was when I had thought I cleared it.
Overall, the shower worked, the bed was clean and the microwaved heated my leftovers are about the only really great things I could say about the room. The thunderous noises from above, the pebbles and debris on the carpet made the room less than ideal.
