Historic Downtown Carriage House

This upstairs apartment is in a classic looking 1920's stone carriage house in a prime location in center of historic downtown Flagstaff. The property is entirely enclosed with a quaint lighted stone and cedar wall with free off-street parking, stone fire pit and sitting terrace, trees, seasonal flowers and vines, and grassy lawn (Please Note: they all lose their foliage during winter months. Yes, some guests have asked why the landscape color is gone in the winter time ... :). You'll be within just a few minutes walking distance to dozens of shops, restaurants, nightlife, and public transportation. It's warm, cozy, secluded, accessible - you’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the location, and the lighted enclosed exterior and fire-pit stone terrace. This is a perfect place for all types of travelers and activities.

This malapai stone house is a perfect mix of classic and modern, with warm wood interiors and modern updates, including hydronically heated wood floors and a freshly remodeled bathroom. The kitchen is original with a few aesthetic improvements, and the queen bed is new and comfortable. In addition, the entire house is on a charcoal filtration water system.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. Charming and delightful apartment with beautiful yard
This was our first visit to Flagstaff & we enjoyed it so much we've already made plans to return. When we parked & looked at the house we would stay in for five weeks we were taken in by loads of sunflowers, the lovely green space filled with shade, bright colored flowers of so many varieties, & the beautiful ivy covered carriage house. We couldn't help but smile. The apartment was delightful, charming furnishings, with plenty of storage for everything we brought for our 5 week stay. The bathroom was modern, the bed was comfortable, and there was always a cool breeze coming through the abundance of windows. Jan was a great host! He met us when we arrived & gave us the tour, pointing out everything we would need to know about the apartment. He checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything in the apartment, were we comfortable, was there anything he could do to make things better. He was a wealth of information regarding places to go & things to do during our stay. The location was great! We could walk into downtown Flagstaff, so many shops, restaurants, Heritage Square, or stroll the neighborhood. We enjoyed many easy day trips to places like the Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, & so many fun towns in the surrounding area like Jerome, Cottonwood, Williams, & more, several of which were suggestions from Jac. Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is just right for a couple. Very cozy and comfortable. Location was perfect for downtown stores/restaurants as well as traveling to Grand Canyon and Sedona. Loved the fact that a washer/dryer was available, so we didn't have to pack so much. The host was very friendly and easily accessible. Would highly recommend.

Cute apartment great location
The apartment was a short walking distance to downtown and on a very quiet street. Plenty of parking which we really appreciated. Clean and provided all the basics. Could use a bit more counter space in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, but otherwise was very comfortable. Owner was very pleasant and communicative. Would recommend this rental.

Perfect Couples Getaway
My boyfriend and I just adore Flagstaff and like to go as often as possible. This little cottage was the perfect place to stay to be within walking distance of downtown. It was quiet and cozy, perfect for couples to just get away for a few nights!
