The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the room wasn’t as nice as we thought it would be. The smell when walking in the room, and in the elevators, was so strong! Almost like a paint/stain smell and that was a big deal for us as we do have a child with chronic asthma. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room felt very old. The coffee maker was also not clean. Overall, just not somewhere we would stay again.

...would recommend for ANYONE wanting to stay at the south rim of the grand canyon without staying at Grand Canyon Village. This resort was an excellent value. The grounds were impeccable. It's close to everything you need including the IMAX where you can watch the history of The Grand Canyon on full display. The restaurants nearby are good and accommodating. Also, the Squire Resort has very SPACIOUS pet friendly rooms! We travel with our 60 lb Sheepadoodle and it was great for him also! 10/10 for a Grand Canyon stay!
