There is an out door area that looked like it was for guests but once you enter you get locked in courtyard with no way out . I got stuck in courtyard for a long while knocking on door till another guest saw me and finally opened door. I did not realize you were not suppose to enter as there were no signs and let did not work to let myself in

Wasn't the worst but wouldn't stay again.

This hotel is definitely a get what you pay for type of place. It's sketchy from the oustide, hot on the inside and generally just a bit run down. The lobby looks nice and the location was what we needed so on that point, it was nice. But we did not have a shower curtain and when we requested another they were unable to bring us one bc the person who was able to get it, was in Chicago and wouldnt be back until 2am. I dont fault the lovely woman who was just as confused as we were but it was frustratingg as we had been traveling all day. We were supposed to get one brought up to us in the morning and either we missed their knock or they got held up. We also had half used toiletries left in our bathroom for us. Overall, it wasn't the worst hotel experience.. the beds were comfy, the ac in our room worked well and the staff were very pleasant to talk to! However, I would personally book elsewhere in the future.

I did not like that my deposit went on my card when I had cash for it. The hotel clerk at the desk forgot to ask. I do not like having to wait a week to get it returned to me that's ridiculous!

Images online did not represent the property. Although some fixtures in the room were new, there were cracks in the walls and ceiling, the room/bathroom were dusty and dirty. There was no breakfast offered (although there was supposed to be). However, worst of all, this hotel is being used to house homeless people. While I have not problem with that specifically, I would have made a different hotel choice had I known that to be the case.

Do not recommend at all the website lies. Very mean staff the place was dirty so was the room pool room as nast, the continental breakfast that they say they give online was a lie they give you cereal and milk. Staff was not polite spoke barely any English do not recommend at all ever going to this place.

Didnt say that it is one of the homeless venues. Even though I paid for prior to arrival, the staff refused to check ne in without paying some incidental fee only to fine the phone in the room didn't work, they refused to bring up extra towels. Thw breakfast was bagels and muffins that could not be taken back to my room. I am surprised that Wyndam would allow such a properly to be on their list.

The pictures on this site do not show the actual rooms. This place is trashy and gross. I would have canceled but by the time I saw the hotel and room I would have lost a lot of money. I will never use hotels.come again after this. Nothing about the stay was good honestly. Couldn’t understand the front desk guy, the halls and room smelled like mold and old smoke. The building itself looks abandoned. The pool looked like it had never been cleaned. So much wrong with this hotel.

Nasty building and rude staff

Stay was horrible booked a joint room weeks before arrival, rooms was not ready for 3pm check in as well as they was trying to give me two rooms where they each was on different floors when I had small children with me. They still ended up given me two separate rooms three doors from each other. Each room was filthy and had stains all over the floor and on the bedding. They also charged a 50 dollar deposit for each room which I was suppose to get back after check out and they only redound me 80 dollars. Online the the hotel shows nice rooms and amenities with special perks but when you arrive, it’s dirty. Staff is rude and reservations does not match online versus in person. If you’re looking for a how motel days Inn is where you should go. A lot of people live there. There’s a lot of people in and out not a good place for a family trip.

If you don’t have to stay here don’t. Firstly to check in there is 2 hotels in one. They as which you are staying but only one desk clerk for both hotels. I should have walked away then. The price is decent but the hospitality was the worse I’ve ever seen. We as for more towels they gave us 1 washcloth and two bath towels and claimed there were no more in the hotel and we’d have to wait for housekeeping in the morning. The room was sub par and needed cleaning and the bathroom was poorly repainted and chipped. I also ask was there another door so we could park and come in closer to the elevator, I was told this is the only way in and out. Isn’t that a fire hazard. Save your money and keep searching.

The good - I disagree with many of the reviews I read. I thought the staff was amazing. We stayed 2 nights, saw many different workers, all were very friendly and helpful. Condition of some things aside, I believe our room and common areas were as clean as they could be. The bed was clean and comfy, our fridge etc worked. The staff seems to be doing the best they can with what they are dealt. I didn’t see any of what reviews are calling homeless people or anything unsafe. It’s not a secret that doors locked at midnight. There was staff at the desk ready to let us in, non issue. Breakfast was good, the basics, cereal, bagels etc. I liked that they had donut holes and mini muffins The bad - The hotel could definitely use some repairs. It’s not in great shape. There was a hole in our shower ceiling from a prior leak or something, our vanity was held up by like 2x2 sticks and the caulk job prob wasn’t professional. It seemed like they have no budget for repairs and someone is doing what they can. It wouldn’t stop me from staying there again, but just fyi. I waited too long to book for van andel, this was avail and not $600. I paid more than an average night and I’m not upset about it. It’s 6 min away. It did what I needed, a place to sleep, shower, free parking and free breakfast. There’s also a gas station next door, I always need drinks etc. Win IMO If you’re looking for fancy or perfect definitely stay somewhere else.
