The worst experience of my life. The bedding materials are so bad and filthy specially the comforter. I took the pics , wish I could attach them here . We send email to property manager as fornt desk person suggested with attached pics but there was no response from her. finally we talked to her, and her response was , oh these are downy comforters and I use the same at my home , and this is the feather that color like this … Horrible explanation, no apology

We paid for a larger room. We’re given a room with less beds for our five people. We were told they sell out all the time and that’s just the way it was. We were lucky we got a room, even though we pre-paid for it. So lame.

Property was clean amd staff was friendly. My only complaints: hallways seemed to be hot and stuffy---room temps were fine and controllable. I appreciated a cool room upon arrival. The breakfast was already in takedown mode 30 minutes before closing time. There were few options hot and fresh--and little left. Shut down and clean up, in my opinion, should be begin after the timeframe--if guests are done. It felt like we all needed to hurry and find what was left. It was a crowded soace and people were walking arpund clueless, all trying to find food. 😵‍💫

Our room was clean, had good options for breakfast, the hotel smelt good, housekeeping and maintenence staff were nice. I was able to focus on what i was in the area for, and not have to deal with issues with the hotel, which is a relief.

I recently stayed one night at this Hyatt on my way to Detroit. The room itself was spacious, well laid-out, and had all the amenities I needed for a short stay. The front desk staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, the noise level was a huge issue for me. The walls were so thin I could hear people talking next door, footsteps and movement from the room above, and even street noise from outside. The slamming of doors in the hallway was constant and very disruptive. On top of that, even though I was assured a late checkout, I was constantly disturbed by housekeeping knocking on my door in the morning, which defeated the purpose of getting that extended time to rest. Another slight disappointment was the limited selection in the hotel’s tuck shop. I was hoping for more basic items, such as juice or snacks, especially late at night. All they had were pretzels, energy drinks, and a couple of sodas. Overall, I would stay here again due to its proximity to the highway and the size of the rooms, but I would request a quiet floor.

Literally stay anywhere else

We came to stay here for a funeral and asked to check out an hour late and was told it would be fifty dollars extra and she was not very polite. I have worked night audit and on front desk and all you have to do is just tell the turndown workers to clean the room last to give people a little extra time to get out of a room. To be coming in from out of town and ask for an hour of leeway for a funeral didn't seem like that big of an ask, but apparently it is. So I'm not going to stay at a hyatt again honestly. When Ive asked to do anything regarding a late check out at a home2suites, an embassay terrace, a doubletree, a radisson etc, they always give me til 12 pm before they say they have to charge. We also had to get something out of the car at midnight and were going to ask for a towel and there was no one around, and yes we yelled hello several times. Felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by staying here.

What I didn't like is the breakfast. There wasn't enough for everyone, it was unorganized, scattered around, seating didn’t make sense, and it was just chaotic. I was able to grab a bagel and cup of milk and that was it. However, the room was fantastic and I would stay here again simply because of the room size and bed comfort.
