Overall good choice but a few concerns
First, I have never stayed at Springhill and I booked on a whim after reading reviews. Overall, if you book this hotel I believe it’s a good choice barring any crazy guests because it’s so small you hear everything. First, the hotel was very clean. I always bring my own cleaning stuff and after cleaning the bathroom my sponge still looked clean, that says a lot. This location looked new and was nicely decorated. It had all of the amenities I wanted but it was cozy and intimate. The staff were also nice and accommodating which is important to me. Cons: please fix the screens in the desk partition. Every time you or anyone outside the room walk they rattle which is extremely annoying, especially when your sleep. Also, the parking lot paving looks relatively new, why are there no lines to mark the spaces? People that stayed there parked as if they had no idea to park without them. Most important, I know its a small hotel but for goodness sake do not allow people to rent out the lobby for parties. When your trying to check in its far too noisy because its too small. Upon arrival, I came up to the entrance with my bags but when I saw all the people I thought I was crashing a private party and this couldnt be the entrance so I went back to the car and drove around looking for another entrance. Plus the entry door is not clearly marked. Sadly, the same folks had a party both nights and they were childish maniacs that have no business out in public but thats not the hotels fault.
