Tom's Lodge is cleverly designed to minimise the carbon footprint, using energy from the sun and heating from the log burner, solar for hot water and srapped in a blanket of sheeps wool insulation. As you approach the lodge, you cannot fail to be impressed by its setting. Stepping into the lodge, you will immediately be pulled to the outstanding view from the south facing lounge glass wall. The spacious lounge is perfect for entertaining with gorgeous leather sofas, dining table and log burner. The log burner is main source of heating in the lodge. Tom’s Lodge has been cleverly built in such a way that a heating system is not required. Fully insulated with sheeps wool, the clay walls retain the heat from the log burner and natural sunlight from the south facing glass lounge wall. Upstairs there is a family suite which includes a king size room with lounge and balcony. The lounge has flexible living space with the 2 sofas that can be converted into comfortable single beds. There are also 2 additional king size rooms and a further twin bedroom meaning that Tom’s Lodge can sleep up to 10 people in total.
