Home Truths:
- The third bedroom and bathroom are located on the first floor, separate from the rest of the home. They are not accessible from the main living space—you must go outside to enter this room.
- There are two outdoor cameras on the property. One is above the downstairs entrance, and the second is in front of the house, pointed at the street.
- Due to our septic system, infants are included in max. occupancy.
- 2 pets under 30 Lbs are allowed at this home. This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

Worked for us
Spent a long weekend with friends. Some things were great (close to the beach, good outdoor area, large sleeping areas), other things could have been better (cooking utensils were dirty and needed to be washed, mold in downstairs shower, no separate bathroom for the person on the couch). Communication with the property was great. We had to change dates and did so easily, there was a fire alarm beeping when we got there and someone replied to my message very quickly and someone was over to replace the battery in a couple hours. There also wasn’t a large area for everyone to comfortably hang out. We spent most of outlet time at the kitchen table. Overall it worked for our purposes, was inexpensive, and we had a god time.

A Week in Greenbank
Overall the stay was good. Some of our concerns are that the pull out sofa bed had stains and dog hair on it. It also did not pull out all the way and had an incline. The kitchen fan also did not vent very well. There are also some wooden benches by the fire pit that are not very sturdy, borderline dangerous. However, the other parts of the home were as listed and the beds in the bedrooms were comfortable. We would stay there again.

Appreciate the home for light filled rooms, linens, bed comfort, bathrooms, kitchen supplies and neighborhood. But the 3rd bedroom without access to any part of lower level or upstairs should state this on listing in concrete terms. The listing noted it but was easy to miss. I thought the bedroom was part of the family room downstairs. Also no family room with kitchen limited functionality. No TV upstairs and no bathroom on lower level with access to family rooms. Appreciate the location and very walkable area. Super quiet area.

This house is beautifully appointed, and everything we could have wanted was included. It was a short walk to see the water, and had great parking, and a nice quiet neighborhood. Rental company was very attentive and helpful. We would consider this house again when we return to Whidbey Island.

Good location to the beach
The house was in a great location with good access to the beach. The upper deck was lovely to sit out on, not sure if I would sit out on the lower deck with the landscaping underwhelming. I am sure the outdoor firepit would be fantastic to hang out with friends and use the pool table as well. The house is equipped with the basics, but that is about it. Seems a bit sterile, parse with the decor. Layout of kitchen and living area seems awkward and the master bed mattress needs to be replaced-big slope with on one side. Bathrooms are great.
