Visit historic Greeneville, TN, located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This property is across the street from the Homestead, home of the 17th President, Andrew Johnson. The home is within walking distance of this National Historic Site, and also within walking distance of Andrew Johnson's Tailor Shop and U. S. National Park Service. Both of these historic sites can be toured. The home is also a few blocks from the center of downtown Greeneville which includes the Dickson Williams Mansion, a historic mansion and museum. This Federal Style Mansion was built in 1821 and was commandeered by both Confederate and Union troops during the Civil War. Daily guided tours are available to the public.

There are many opportunities for outdoor activities within close driving distance. These activities include golfing, hiking to waterfalls, white water rafting, and snow skiing in the winter. There are many antique stores in the area. Greeneville is also near Tusculum University, a private Presbyterian university with its main campus in Tusculum, TN. It is Tennessee's first university and the 28th oldest in the United States. Greeneville also is the home of Walters State Community College, with a beautiful new campus near downtown.

The property is located about one hour from Asheville, NC, and the beautiful Biltmore Estate, America's Largest Home, built by George Vanderbilt, in 1889 to 1895. Explore the 8,000 acres estate in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville. Visitors have the option of touring the home, restaurants and wine tasting. The property is also one hour from Gatlinburg, TN, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In addition, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, is also about one hour drive away.
