The rooms are nice, and a decent size with a mini fridge and microwave at least. Very quiet, especially for being adjacent to highway 10.

Overall experience was great. The sevice at counter, breakfast, coffee all good. The items that needs an attention was the desk chair surface was worn out from the front. Plus there was some spot signs under TV stands seems need a clean with lysol wipes. Location is on 10 west so currently not accessible via highway so have to pass through clam neighborhoods.

My bed had bugs. Didn’t see any when I arrived but rolled over and out of corner of my eye I saw something move and jumped out of bed and lots of them. Crawling all over on the pillow I had my head on and the rest of the bed. The front desk David said he had never seen them that bad. They then moved me to another room and said he checked and was fine. I pulled apart the first bed and saw nothing but the second bed around the area where your knees would be and found another. I immediately went to check out and asked for a refund. He then told me it wasn’t happening until the manager came back on duty in a few days and he left a note but gave no guarantees. Also, said since I booked through Expedia I was likely going to have to deal with them directly. So, in middle of night I am desperately trying to find another hotel and all hotels locally were booked out. Had to travel an hr out of the way to find another. Also, when I called the front desk to alert them of the situation a man answered, I had seen a lady at check in. I asked if he was now working the front desk …he said. No, I am standing here getting paid nothing. I asked for a manager and he stated no one was available and once I told him the problem he changed his attitude but to have such a rude and snarky person answer the phone in this middle of this traumatic event didn’t help. I didn’t sleep all night and the way my back and head feel I suffered several bites as I had been in bed an hour before the discovery.

I read a lot of negative comments about the 3rd floor needing to be condemned. I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn’t a smell and everything was in good working order. I have a family of five. I was happy with the stay. If we were to go to mall of America again I wouldn’t stay there. It said it was a 30 minute drive. I don’t know if it was because of construction but it was a solid 45 minute drive with lots of getting off and on different freeways. We stayed 3 days. Had a great breakfast selection.
