From Griet, journey 130 kilometres to the northwest to get to Mainz, a significant city. You can also head 140 kilometres northwest to visit another great city, Wiesbaden.

It's no secret that time spent in nature is good for your health and happiness. In light of that, why don't you head 45 kilometres out of Griet to Rosenstein Park? Unterer Schlossgarten, just 50 kilometres away, is another recommended choice.
