I booked a room based on an image of the 2 units in the back thinking it would be quiet and have a natural setting. On arrival I was assigned the room next to the cafe. It was noisy from traffic and restaurant activity. The manager was so terse that on checkout I did not mention that the remote did not link to the tv.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable. Perfect stop before or after visiting Yosemite. It was also nice having a restaurant on site, with very good food and service. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was at a neighboring hotel, which was a bit confusing.
The room was recently renovated. But the bed was horrific - mattress was rock hard and pillows were completely flat and stiff.
Otherwise, it was a fine place to stay outside Yosemite.
Several things were so disappointing.
We have 3 SMALL dogs and bring a crate for them to stay and sleep in. We did not know about nor were we prepared to pay the ridiculously high fee for dogs. Secondly we expected to have a tv in room that worked. After several attempts to operate tv and multiple conversations with rude and very disinterested front office we gave up. Only sink was plugged up. One positive is the man who cleaned our room and bathroom did a fantastic job. Friendly, polite, helpful. We will not stay there again.
Great little lodge just outside of Yosemite. I stayed here for a night after a 4 day backpacking trip and it was the perfect spot to rest and recover. The onsite laundry facility and restaurant make it a great home base for exploring the park.
When we arrived to our room there was an RV taking up two parking spaces in front of our room so we had to park a ways from our room, they finaly mooved. The toilet was dirty with hair and urine behind the lid. We were woke up around midnight to something banging on the inside of the wall in the bathroom so we turnd on the AC because it was louder thand the nois coming from the bathroom. The person that check us in was very pleasant and welcoming and the restaurant serves and food was wonderful. We will stay here again if we come back this way.
Though the room we had was behind the restaurant, we still had a good view of the mountains around it. It was less than 20 minutes from the west entrance to Yosemite. It was cozy and clean, and the best room we’ve had on our two week travels. Would totally book with them again!
The property was great! Parking is right by lodging so easy to traverse with my mom who has a hard time walking every now and then. Pool and hot tub were a plus. Spacious room to relax after a long day. Staff was sweet and accommodating. 10/10!
The photos are misleading- the pool is attached to a hotel next door 5 minutes walk away through a car park. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly- there was left over food in the fridge. The fridge wasn’t cold enough and the dial had been removed so you can’t adjust it. However the motel is convenient for Yosemite. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful despite being very over-worked.

Our room was small and noisy- a few doors from the Restaurant and right off the highway. Despite paying the $25/day dog fee, I was rudely Interrogated by someone on staff asking if I was staying at the hotel and if I had paid for my dog.
Check-in/out was not friendly or helpful.
“Onsite” EV charging stations were not working so we needed to drive 15 minutes to find a charge.
For the price Buck Meadows Lodge is not worth it!
My family planned to visit the Yosemite National Park over the weekend. Buck Meadows Lodge was a close enough drive to the entrance of the park. The front desk was very understanding and welcoming which was very helpful for our questions about the local area.
The room and bathroom were updated and nice. I appreciated the nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion. There were charging outlets for cell phones, USB, etc. I liked that there was a Keurig coffee maker. Everything was nice quality.
