Very good

The staff was friendly. It is a nicely conserved building despite it being more than 400 years old. It comes with the basic amenities. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is AC in every room. It is a few meters from the center of the city. There are good restaurants nearby, museums around the corner, shopping all around that area, and the area is walkable. Taxis are always available outside the hotel ready to take you anywhere you want to go.
This is a historic hotel with lots of originality, but old doesn’t mean it should be unkept. There was mold in the bathrooms, a mildew smell in the room, front desk staff seemed like they didn’t care, and the beds may be the original from the 1600s! We asked if they could turn on the chandelier lights in the lobby but it remained dark all night. So disappointed.
They didn't respected my reservation. I paid for that in expedia I gave them the reservation number and they said that Expedia didn't pay to them or make the reservation. I was pretty upset. I was feeling humiliated. They offered another room for more money. I want a reimbursement from Expedia because this was terrible experience. I walked to another at night time until I went to other hotel Hotel Morales.
Room 214 NO Air Conditioning WiFi does not work toilet Handle was lose
Cuarto 214 no aire condicionado el internet no sirve ahí y la palanca de la tasa del baño estaba suelta
It was great basically. Clean and friendly.
The bed was too small for the 2 of us and made sleeping difficult so best to get rwi beds. The one thing we missed was having the little tables on the roof where you could have a beverage plus the bar was closed.
It would be nice if you ccould buy cold beer there at the hotel.
tiny room compared to pics; poor ventilation; window onto air vent; bed loudly creaked with every move. Poor service; hours before a second towel arrived (2 person booking), no serious attempt to remedy issues, unable to deal with cancellation. Shower barely functioning. Able to hear other guests using their bathroom through window and walls. Generally, hotel pictures do not match reality.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Terrible water pressure in the shower
Premium suite 302 and terrible mattres
One of the couples we were with had a fall (the husband) on the stairs and the staff were wonderful - caring, attentive and made several followup calls to make sure he was okay and actually came up to the room to check on him! So kudos to the young fellow on the desk and the concierge - they went above and beyond!
