The place is located in a quiet suburban type location in Guadalajara. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is older and it needs some deep cleaning. Plaza del Sol is walking distance to get food or some shopping. Unfortunately, $200.00 were stolen from my wallet. That was so disappointed. I called the hotel and explained that this had occurred, hotel staff heard me and stated "that has never happened" I didnt want to argue and so I just made clear that I would not stay there again. Partially I take responsibility of trusting that a hotel in a better location; would be a place where I could leave my money 1x when I went to a party. Again this was so disappointing to have that experience.

Outdated colonial hotel in a neighborhood near downtown. Very few restaurants nearby. Breakfast was sparse and service was bad. Mostly canned .The gymn was 3 30 year old machines in an 8x10 room hot as hell. Original booking was for 5 days I left after the first 'night

The customer service was more than excellent. Karina and all hotel's staff always treat us with respect and patience. You immediatly feel the difference from a regular Hotel. Very quite and natural style place to stay. The restaurant has a very calm and the natural view is great. Thanks.

We have been fans of this place for years and we always attempt to book our stay there every time we travel to Guadalajara. However, this time we noticed that the restaurant service is not up to the level that it used to be, options at breakfast are very reduced from what we used to enjoy, and extremely limited for lunch and dinner, they could also use some extra hands, specially at breakfast time when busier. Nevertheless, we still love this place and will continue to favor it in our next visits to Guadalajara, we love the location, its convenience to main attractions in the city, but specially the friendliness and commitment of the staff to caring for the customer.

Pros. Charming and cozy place. Staff is very attentive and nice, they go out of their way to nake you feel welcomed. Nearby restaurants and shops. Sencond time staying here and will be back. Cons. Room was a little outdated, could use some attention to detail ( entry door hard to close because it drags on floor, a/c has some broken vents but it works fine, shiwer door is a bit narrow and water gets out making floor slippery) all real minor things just being critical. Pillows do need to be upgraded, that would be my only true complaint.
