The property is beautiful and very well maintained! The cottage we stayed in was adorable and super clean! Only a 25 min drive along the Russian River to Goat Rock Beach! We’d definitely recommend staying here with a family and girl friends weekend! We enjoyed the atmosphere and gardens!

The property was beautiful and very peaceful. At the end of our stay they tried to charge an extra $135 for “resort fees” which was not indicated to me upon checkout. I asked what “resort fees entailed” and he said wifi and grounds keeping. In the end the fees were waved but not a very good experience upon checkout.

This property is beautiful, the pool is nice and it has so many great amenities. We loved being close to the river and taking advantage of the kayak rental. Overall it was a good experience. We were here over the 4th of July and it was very busy. The restaurant has EXCELLENT food, the people in the kitchen are doing great. The service staff and general organization at the restaurant seemed to struggle. We had dinner one night, sat at the bar and had to listen to the bartender complain the entire time. So that and the struggle very obviously felt by all of the service staff ruined what could have been a wonderful experience

OMG… what is not to love about Dawn Ranch? At the top of the list of great thing about this place is the incredibly friendly and cool staff. That alone makes it a 10/10 recommend. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also outstanding. Don’t think of it as a cabin by the river, rather it is more like a nice hotel with super cool people and 5 star treatment at reasonable prices, that just happens to be a lot of small buildings instead of one big one. I adore this place and will definitely be back.
