I greatly enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are small and the beds and pillows are very firm, but I found that perfectly comfortable, and the price was right.
You've got easy access to the Keio line into Shinjuku or the Chuo line out to the Fuji five lakes area. Or just hang around Hachioji, it's a pleasant town.
The staff were polite and were able to assist me with check-in and check-out in English (there wasn't much to checking out, just drop the key in a box). I didn't have occasion to ask them much else, not sure what else you'd typically need to talk to hotel staff about. The room was clean, the bathroom was stocked and functional.
Basic toiletries are provided. There's a continental breakfast with free coffee, boiled eggs, soups, bread, and pastries at no extra cost. It's something I'd appreciate if I had places to be, which is the clientele this type of hotel is aimed at.
