While there I lost my phone. One of the desk clerks TETIANA was really REALLY compassionate and supportive and helpful trying to help locate it. Her kindness helped me survive the trauma. Thank you Tetiana. Much appreciate your help. And I found the taxi and my phone after I had bought a new one.

Room was very spacious and clean. Not A/c, so you have to open the windows and hear all the traffic noise which is not good for light sleepers Hotel is old and decorations are outdated. Breakfast was very good. Location is just across Central station and within walking distance to all main landmarks. You get what you pay for!

Very convenient
Spacious family room, good breakfast, decor slightly dated but quite charming, nice high ceilings etc. The very convenient location opposite the station was also VERY noisy, especially at the front. The double glazing was surprisingly effective at blocking out most of the noise, but with the windows shut it was very hot and there was no air conditioning.

This is a hotel that has preserved the best of the past while having tastefully modernized. The room was of a generous size and everything clean, including the hallways. Many furnishings seemed original to the hotel and are in excellent condition. The whole environment speaks of gentle hospitality.

Room was clean although there was only 1 flat feather pillow in my room with a king sized bed and a twin sized bed. Check in staff was friendly including helping me figure out subway system on my first day. Location is convenient to the main train station although I had trouble finding it. The front of the hotel was being renovated so there was no sign on the front of the hotel. It wasn't until I looked at the address that I saw the name on the glass door. Basic, but good breakfast buffet.

Dirty bathroom. Terrible ! Dirty carpet. Renovation of exterior wall with steel scaffolding at the front building. Saw the big metal old tubes at the window view .no ventilation. No air conditioning. Price is high. Terrible breakfast buffet. Never booking it again

A great location
There was a bit of a hiccup with our checkin, since they had no record of us having already paid. It was eventually straightened out, then they realized that we had overpaid and refunded our credit card. All was well. The room was comfortable, clean and had ample space. There does seem to be noise that carries through the walls and halls, but since we travel with earplugs, it was no problem. Bonus was the bidet in the bathroom.
