Parking is limited and definitely use the earplugs provided as the train is loud and anyone in the halls will wake you up. Room was comfy and had everything we needed. Elevator took forever but no big deal. Bar area nice and close to lots of dining.

Beautiful hotel constructed circa 1851. Uniquely themed rooms which are large, have amazing ceiling height and plenty of windows in our room. Due to the age of the building sound transmission or attenuation is difficult to achieve, so you may experience a lot of exterior noise sick as street vehicular traffic, but this is typical due to the construction of the building. A beautiful library bar, as well as cellar bar. Wonderful walkable establishments near by, but note some stores or establishments are not open on Monday and Tuesday. Would definitely return.

This is a special historic hotel from the 1800s, so that was my original reason for picking it. And then i got a bonus that each of their rooms is themed based on different authors. So that was really cool. We ended up in the Stan Lee room which was decorated with Marvel art and paraphernalia. We were very impresed. We would go there again and likely ask for a different room for variety. The breakfast was nice and the Library Bar had a nice atmosphere for a drink.

This hotel has lots of character being a very old building and is well located downtown Paris close to restaurants and the river - very pretty location. Being an older building though, the room was fairly small, with sloped ceiling and smelt a bit musty. They did a great job making a fun theme to modernize it, ie. based on different famous people.

Really nice, we stayed on Labour Day weekend and they had no problem with us keeping bikes in the room! The breakfast could definitely use an upgrade though, feels really sparse for the price of hotel.

It was a perfect getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel was very friendly and a great location to go kayaking on the Grand River. We would definitely stay again!

Well worth a visit.
Loved the hotel. The inside was even more interesting and lovely than the outside. Was not expecting a suite. It was very spacious and comfortable and well equipped. Great breakfast choices. Lovely staff.

Cute old hotel great location
Great location, you’re right on the main strip. Can hear road noise from the room, cars, music etc. the rooms were unique and had a cute theme. Very old hotel but cute updates overall. Air conditioning/thermostat was maxed out at its lowest and still left the room feeling a bit warmer than we liked for sleeping. Breakfast was ok, gives you your basic morning needs. Overall pretty good for a one night stay
