It is basically a very small room with a large bed. The bed is situated in such a way that one person has to climb over the other to get in and out of bed. If they had oriented the bed differently, it wouldn't have been an issue. The "wet room" (i. e. bathroom) is very stupid. The toilet and toilet paper are well protected from the water but after a shower you have to walk on the wet floor to brush your teeth, use the toilet, etc. I give part of the blame to Orbitz that did not describe the property this way--if I'd gone to the Bloc website, at least I would have known what I was getting into. Another poor thing is that you control everything from your phone--elevator, door, lights, AC but the app didn't work half the time. It is very convenient to be within the south terminal of Gatwick so that you don't have to leave the airport if you are staying during an overnight layover.

It's a simple room, but it's got everything you need for an overnight stay. Convenient, clean, and good temperature control. Staff friendly and efficient.

Small and compact - good for a very short stay
I wouldn’t recommend to anyone claustrophobic. The room is fine for a quick few hours sleep before your flight. We arrived after 11pm and left at 5am for our flight. The bed was comfy but compact. Not loads of room for suitcases, I saw that some people left their cases outside their room, probably cause they are small. The bathroom was tiny, more of a wet room style bathroom which I wasn’t aware of. The reception staff were lovely and gave us bottled water. The only big benefit of this hotel, is it is right next to departures security, so we could go straight to security when we left our room. I would stay here again if I’m only staying for a few hours in the hotel.
