Stopped off in Magdeburg on my way to Berlin and opted for Mercure hotel. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was clean, comfortable and had good WiFi coverage. Bike friendly, which was a bonus. Would happily use again

Comfortable bed. Decent shower (though a shower curtain rather than a screen). Kettle in the room. Underground parking (charged extra). We paid £10 each extra in the room rate for breakfast - this was quite disappointing, possibly as a result of not having many guests

Lovely staff is always happy to help, public transport (tram) nearby. Good breakfast. Clean rooms (smoking available which is a rarity in Germany :-) ).

Cost friendly hotel in the centre of town
This was a last minute booking for an event in Burg. Modestly priced but lovely room, clean, spacious bathroom and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Dated decor but very clean and good hotel.
Hotel shows it's age in terms of the dated decor but it's been kept very well maintained, clean and fresh, as you would expect from German attention to detail. All an all very good stay.
