Upon entering the premises, you will find a custom iron security gate requiring coded access. Stone Creek boasts 2500+ sq ft of luxury living space complete with a full kitchen, & laundry. Guests will have full use of the grounds including the hot tub, fire pit, and the numerous covered decks & patios. Perfect romantic getaway or multi person retreat.

The space

Stone Creek offers luxury accommodations in a private setting. You will enjoy the perfect balance between comfort & high end amenities. The interior features everything you would expect in a cabin getaway-comfortable furnishings, hardwood floors, a beautiful stone fireplace, & wooded setting. High end amenities include floor to ceiling marble baths, walk in showers, jetted tub, stainless appliances, front load laundry, gated entry & hot tub.
The main level offers a two story vaulted Great Room, Laundry, Office, Two full baths, & Master Bedroom. Upstairs you will find a Full Bath & Three Bedrooms. Outdoors you will find a massive covered front porch, back deck off of the kitchen, a two tiered gazebo next to the waterfall, side deck, & lower level patio space.
Stone Creek offers a phenomenal location within 2 miles from Exit 19 off I-65 & approx 22 miles to Downtown Louisville. Hiking and trails are available 1 mile down the road at Clark County State Forestry. Champions Pointe, a Fuzzy Zoeller golf course, is approx 5 minutes away. This would be an ideal rental for those participating in the Derby festivities. We were amazed at how clean the cabin is. Floor to ceiling tile and three bathrooms and all were pristine . We had crawlers and the carpets were clean no dirty kneecaps. The host was thoughtful with regard to how the place was furnished and the amenities available. Great place to stay.

Spent Christmas week in cabin with my extended family. It was a wonderful stay, clean, comfortable with plenty of space for the 9 of us. We enjoyed the peace, the stunning deck, and luxury bathrooms. The host was so sweet and quick to respond to and solve any questions we had. We also really appreciated the Christmas decorations, we have been doing Christmas trips for a few years now and this was the first cabin that had a tree up. Really made Christmas feel like Christmas!

Thanksgiving 2024
We arrived to the cabin and we were immediately impressed with the gates and the property. We entered the cabin were pleasantly surprised by the entryway as well as the high ceilings. The house was amazing, enough room for the eleven of us. There was even a Christmas tree that was amazing! The kitchen was great, everything we needed to prepare all our meals and enough room for family to sit and talk while doing so. The games in the garage were fun but the one that we all played for many, many house was the ring on the string. We were up late playing that. We retired to our bedrooms with comfortable beds and slept great. We enjoyed the hot tub even though it was rather windy, but as long as we were all the way in the water we were great. We had four generations under one roof and we had the most amazing time doing Christmas crafts and the annual gingerbread house building competition. We’d all love to go back next year. You can’t miss with this great property. I know I’m leaving out other things, just know you’ll be taken great care of by the host.

Stone Creek Cabin Retreat had everything we needed to enjoy our stay; we'd love to come back again sometime and stay longer. Fantastic Getaway!
Stone Creek Cabin was the perfect place for our family to get away from it all. With plenty of porches, decks and outdoor seating we read and spent time outside. With the games, kitchen and abundant space, we enjoyed time together inside. Everyone had their own room to retreat to when they wanted time alone. We found the cabin much nicer than what the pictures can convey. We had a great time and want to go back in the future.

Perfect escape
Absolutely loved this place, it’s beautiful and tranquil. My wife and I loved the fire pit at night followed by a hot top dip on the top deck. The cabin has a ton to look at and take in.

Family Eclipse Trip!
Our family of 8 had booked this property a year & a half in advance to see the total eclipse. The property was as beautiful as the photos. The "double decker gazebo" was where we spent the most time as it was our favorite spot! Kitchen was well stocked. 2 of the bathrooms had the toilets separate, which is great with a large group of people. Although fair warning if you are very tall you may have a bit of an issue using the water closets. Hot tub is conveniently located right outside 2 of the bedrooms. April was quick to respond to my numerous questions & very patient.

Great place for a getaway for two families of four. Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit (s’mores), and the games in the garage. Golfed at Champions Pointe and found a good hiking trail at KT Pixley. Host was super responsive and was able to accommodate an early check-in.

Wonderful stay!!
Property and house were exactly as described and even more beautiful in person. The best part of the whole stay was, April, the homeowner. There were a couple small things needed in the kitchen and she had them replaced immediately. More importantly she communicated with us. We loved our stay and using it as "headquarters" for our daughter's wedding. Beautiful experience. Thank you. Hope to stay again.

We loved everything about this house!!! It was just close enough to the city but have that "country" vibe. So relaxing. The house had so many games, puzzles, and other activities our kids were so entertained they didn't want to go adventure around town.
