I stayed with my spouse, child, and dog in the only available dog-friendly room there was- on the first floor, next to the ice machine.
Like any other dogs, when a dog hears someone nearby, they bark, and since the ice machine was so close to the room, it made my dog jumpy.
If that's not enough, a guest who checked in later that night on the upper floor was walking in their room, and the floorboards were squeaking so severely that it was impossible to rest. Luckily, they went to sleep shortly after, and the squeaking stopped.
The Carpet was worn out and had bumps in it, and my dog was restless, probably due to the strong past dog odor in the room.
