We stayed for one night as a family of three. On being checked in, we were told if we wanted to use the pool and gym facilities we would have to pay extra as we had booked through Expedia, this seemed a little non-inclusive and we were not quite sure why it mattered who you booked through!
We found our room, there’s lots of them, and although dated was clean and functional. It was clear that some of the corridors had been decorated and some were still to be done.
Breakfast was great with lots of options, plenty of seating and attentive staff.
I myself used the gym and pool facilities. On paying an extra £10 to enter I was offered only a towel whilst ‘other’ hotel guests were given robes and towels, this felt really non-inclusive again! Not only did I have to pay extra, I then had less to show for it!
Staff were all great and I assume are following protocols, but this system really made me feel I had less worth than the other guests.
Gym and pool were great, I also treated myself to a massage and that was amazing. All areas were really clean and tidy.
